I am so happy because I think I just booked a truly amazing trip at an even more amazing price!Sunday I called WD to book the CSR (standard view)for 6nights/7days with park hopper -no water parks passes. The dates were 5/18-5/24. I also asked to check and see how much it would be with the Magic your way with meals. The price with the meals (which includes one meal a day a snack and one counter service) was $2407.00. The cust serv woman told me that she thought I could do better with the premium package if I just added the water parks onto the package that inlcudes 3 meals a day, rentals, golf etc. I was like you can price it -but I doubt I can afford it! WEll it was CHEAPER than the other plan. It came out to 2029.00 Now I don"t know how all of this works but it sure does pay to check ever option!!When I priced the room only it was running around 1400.00 for the week. Even if we don;t eat every meal and we just do a couple of the options it will have paid for itself! Now I just have to try and get great airfare and I'm set!

Thank you Dis for keeping me informed, I would not have even checked had I not seen the rates were out. I hope this info will help other people. And just so you know when I booked it on the computer I was getting much different info so I think it pays to call and talk to someone who will help you with fining discounts and promotions.

Congratulations on your great deal! I personally never manage to get one, but it is nice that someone is able to do so!

I was told that it depends on your amount of stays but I don;t really see how that could be true, unless you are discounted a certain amount for each visit. It will probably never be this cheap for me again because My oldest Ds will be 10 the next time and my youngest DS will be 3 by the time we go again.

I dont want to upset you, but I think you should maybe call again to confirm that rate. That just sounds too good to be true, if it truly is the "Premium package". That package should be well over $4000!! Unless there is some kind of special that is available for that time, and if it is that cheap, i wanna book a package too!!!

I hope it is correct!!! Let us know if you find out anything different.

GOOD LUCK!! :flower: :wizard:

It sounds like the Pixie Dust flew over you when you made your ressie! :wizard: Congrats on the great rate!!

I am planning on going the first week of May and staying at the CSR as well. I'm hoping I can get something close to that as well. Wish me luck! :flower:

How many people in your party? It can't be 4.

There are four people. 2 adults and 1 child age 8 one child age 2. So basically 3 are being charged for tickets and meals since one child is under 3. I know that when I priced a similar package a couple of years ago it was close to 4000.00. I won't know for sure I guess until I get the confirmation in the mail. I went online and saw my reservation but there are no package details. If its a mistake I will be very upset since I spent over 45 minutes on the phone and then another 45 minutes jumping for joy!!

I am calling right now to confirm everything I was told. I will let you know.

Well this does not look good. I am on hold right now while they look to see what she did to my reservation. I guess with so many options even the res people get confused

Bottom line- to good to be true! Now Disney cust ser has the woman who made my reservation calling me back to explain herself. I hope to get that call soon! The only thing I had was unlimited park hoppers with no exp and the resort. My Dh is gonna be mad!!If she wouldn't have gone into such detail and at great lengths about this then I would think maybe I mis understood but I know because I kept asking her about different things in the package.

:( I am so sorry. That is so dissapointing for you. At least you found out now before you were busy planning all your AR's and activities. At least you still get to go, right?!?

I hope you still have a magical trip! :flower:

I don't know when I will get the phone call because the manager didn't know if the CM was in yet since she was from another site. I feel like that huge rush of excitement has left me that I have had since Sunday. I am still going to go to Disney because we always do ! I may even try to get the other package with just the dining and maybe switch date a little to lower the cost to around what this package is. I will keep the park hopper with no expiration but I don't want the water park extra because I still have 2 days left on other tickets for that. We loved the CSR resort so I want to still stay there.
I just don"t want this CM to give anyone else the wrong info. She was really nice and I told the Manager that. I think she really believed she was selling me that grand package!! I look at it this way, I am lucky to have even gone there once in my life so every other trip is a blessing. And thank you BunnyA for questioning the price. I would have been more upset as more time passed by planning the ultimate vacation in my head.

Sorry about the let-down. Hope you have a magical trip anyway!

Sounds like the CM got confused with the premium package and the premium option on the MYW tickets. She added the premium option (pluses, park hopping, and no expiration) to your MYW tickets -- and thought that was the premium package!

That's exactly what I was going to say. It was probably a new CM and when she was explaining everything you get, she was probably just reading from her "premium package" cheat sheet without realizing that is different from premium tickets.

Yes I think that is what happened also. No one has called me back yet. I am thinking maybe she is part time since I spoke to her on Sunday. I will give them until tomorrow and then I will call again. I just want to make sure it was brought to her attention and then we can fix my reservation to what I had originally called about which was just hoppers and resort.

Im also planning a trip for 2006 , but in june. I have been trying to decide between the plus dining package and the premium package. There will be ten 18 year old girls going and i dont know which would be best. I have questions about the premium. What are the restrictions? Are you allowed a certain number of table service and a certain munber of counter service like the dining plan or can you eat wherever you want whenever you want? One more with the premium do signature dining experiences require 2 credits?
Thanks in advance!

i think it would depend on how long you are staying... if you are there long enough to take adavantage of all the components of the premium plan, then it is well worth it (i.e. golf, boating, parasailing, etc)... if you are just signing up for the premium plan for the food aspect, i don't think it is worth it... you can get the dining plan and supplement w/add'l meals out of pocket if need be...

To update, no one called me back so I called and was told that there was not any notes in my reservation about any problems. So I had to explain all over what happened. I was given an email address to send a complaint. I fixed my reservation and took away the water parks option and I have the meal plan . I like having as much paid for in advance as possible.
I will send Disney a note about my problem just so it doesn't happen to anyone else. But I am more upset about the manager not doing what she said she would ,than I am at the Cm who gave me the wrong information unintentionally. A mistake is a mistake and we all make them. But to tell me you are going to take action and than not do anything is just bad !

Signature dining experience does require two credits. The premium package gives you three meals a day and includes all tax and gratuieties, but like gigi1313 said if you are not going to use all of the other options than it really isn;t worth the price. You can get a list of all of the packages on the Disney site.

to add more to that you do not have to eat all 3 meals in one day. if you are staying for 6 nights than each person on the plan would have 18 meals to use at their convience. It is taken off of your card every time you use it.

Hi!
This is a link to a thread about the Premium Plan, maybe it'll help you decide!
