Hi all
Are there any italan restaurants at DTD and are they any good?
What's a good place to stop and get something good to take back to our room - DLH - and munch on.
When the Neon Cactus was still around we used to love to stop and get their nachos or veggie dip plate and bring back to the room to munch on.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Michelle

Glenda, there is an Italian restaurant at DD, Naples Ristorante, and it was good. The only time I ate there I had a horrible toothache (and even then I enjoyed the food) but I would have enjoyed it more if I felt better, I'm sure.
If I remember correctly they have two menus, one for a more casual restaurant downstairs, and a more formal menu upstairs. I'm pretty sure you can get orders to go as well, if that's your preference.
Enjoy! :)

For stuff to munch on, there isn't that much at DtD. There is a Wetzel's Pretzels for pretzels, hot dogs, and sodas. There is also a Haagen Dazs. If you want bakery stuff, the La Brea Bakery has good muffins, etc. You could stop at the Captain's Galley at the DLH - that might help you out, although I am not sure. There is also room service, although that can add up quickly $$$ wise. Anyone else have any ideas?
I will 2nd the opinion on Naples. It is a yummy Italian place. I was not feeling too good either when I ate there (recovering from the stomach flu and DID NOT want to eat anything,) and I ended up eating (and enjoying it a lot too!) We ate downstairs, which was casual but great. :)

If you like cajun/creole food, Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen has a carry out side, with lots of choices. We took shrimp po'boys back to the DLH and enjoyed them while watching the fireworks from our room. Very tasty!
