I Don't Know who's going but I got the Grand Villa!

We had a great vacation "back home" at OKW from June 11-17th in 2BR. Having been DVC members for 9 years, we stayed at OKW the first couple of years and then have been trying out all the new resorts. After being gone for that long you forget about the special features of OKW especially the warm welcome of CM and the size of the rooms.

I noticed that next school year ends on Thursday June 1, 2006 which is a whole week shorter than this year so I was able to book a Grand Villa at the 11-month window from June 3-9th. Bonus -- our stay is also in the cheaper season.

When making the reservation, the CM asked "How many staying?" I said (12). CM asked "How many adults & children. I said 6 adults and 6 children. CM asked "What are the names of the guests?". I said " I do not know-- I don't know who my friends will be next year." and the CM laughed.

Congrats! We stayed in a BWV GV this May with a party of 10. Worked out great.
Slightly off-topic, but how many GVs are there at each of the resorts with GVs?

There are 25 Grande Villas at OKW, and I stayed in one last week!! OMG, I can't ever go back now, and stay in a studio! They are SOOOO big! There were 5 of us in a grande villa, all girls except DH, so we almost had enough bathrooms :rotfl2: Two nights we had another guest sleep with us, too! We had lots of space, and one night there were just two of us :goodvibes We will be there next year in June, too, so we can fight over the grande villas! :teeth: We were in building 48 this year, and it was perfect!!! :love:
