The JW Marriott (http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/MCOJW?ptnr=thayer_mcojw_banner) is a beautiful hotel & right down the road from Sea World. Their pool is just amazing!

The Renaissance Orlando Resort at Sea World is a real nice place and across the street from Sea World.

The Renaissance Orlando Resort
We stayed there about 2 weeks ago and it was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, beautiful lobby atrium, and very, very convenient to SeaWorld.

I mentioned it because I worked there in 1995. I worked at Atlantis which was one of their restaurants at the time. Unless something has changed I can tell you the food is top notch.

Renaissance Orlando Resort is A great hotel The rooms are very large. Stayed there last summer and really enjoyed this hotel they have A large swimming pool. Very easy walk across the street and your at Seaworld. Check the Marriott web site for this property they have Seaworld packages. :)

Vistana Villages is literally 4 minutes from Sea World but another good one is the Residence Inn - SeaWorld.

here is the Renaissance link

beautiful hotel - across the street from SW.
there is also a Hilton timeshares
http://www.hiltongrandvacations.com/ownership/resorts/seaworld.html
it is directly across from the main entrance.
the Renaissance is easier to walk to and from SW.
although you can definitely do it from Hilton.
the hilton is next too - Discovery Cove.
Nothing has changed at Atlantis. It's still as fabulous as ever!
The Renaissance Resort is fantastic. Their Sunday Brunch cannot be beat. The Grande Lakes (JW and Ritz) is also an excellent choice, but a bit out of the way.

We loved our stay here - and won it on Priceline for $70.00 night Easter Week...we needed an extra night before our CP week.

Wow, thank you all for the good tips. Those are beautiful places.
I can't get a rate at the JW Marriot for some reason but I did get a AAA rate at the Renaissance of $206 that was the best rate of any of the rooms and it was for a club level room.
What is their club level like?
Are there any other discounts out there?
What are the rates like at JW Marriot, since I can't get one right now?
I love the place but was maybe thinking of going cheaper for a couple nights before heading over to RPR Club level.
Any other suggestions? :wave2:
Thanks, YO

check
www.expedia.com
also if you feel like taking a change
www.priceline.com
do the area near SW only and try for at least a 4 star - if you bid a $100 you will probably get a good one.
but don't bid more than what you need go see there

Has anyone done the special HGV special offer where you go to a 2 hr presentation to get the good rate package ? Is it really pushy ? Can you schedule it so it doesn't interfere with your vacation too much ? Can you take kids to the presentation ?
Thanks !

It wasn't too pushy for us. (westgate and fairfield - completely different story).
I think they have a baby sitter - but hey I would still take your kids with you. that should cut their sales pitch short. It will still be 90 mins but that will be all.
