I don't know how much longer they will be doing this, but we went a few weeks ago and since my husband is active military, we all 4 got in for free (2 adults and 2 kids). They are doing a thing called "Here's To the Heroes". Adults need to have ID to get in free.

That is an awesome deal. They had the same deal going back in '03 and we took advantage of it then.

We did that too back in June. We also just went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg for free and we were supposed to go to Sesame Place next week for free but I just had to cancel that trip. My husband has to work.

I hope you are kidding about the questions asking if this is only for US Military? Of course its only for US Military. Why would Sea World, a business in the great country of American give free admission to people of other militaries acrosse the world...the only people that should be allowed free admission is both active and inactive US military personnel and their families and any active member of the english army who agrees with the great man, PM Tony Blair...Bush and Blair...together they will pave the way to a better future...
George W. Bush is amazing. God Bless America.

Now I am obviously being really thick. Are you being sarcastic?! So I asked a stupid question, guess I should have expected a stupid answer. Just remember it's not just the US forces who are risking life and limb in Iraq :confused3

When we went to the Shamu show, the lady on stage asked for any member of the US military, British military, and any other military members present to stand and be recognized. I am just assuming that everyone standing was admitted for free like we were. There were people of every nationality standing. We videotaped it, and it was amazing. These men and women are all heroes to their respective countries.

For those who are interested, I emailed Sea World last night. Got a reply today to say that the free entry applies to ALL coalition forces and to fill the forms in and take them to Sea World, along with ID, when we visit in September.
Many thanks for the advice karynnix :flower:

Well isn't that nice that Sea World and AHB isn't nearly as snarky as some posters! I am going to send them out a nice letter immediately saying so! Too bad the beer isn't flowing free too! Have a really nice trip! ::yes::

Yes - it applies to UK military also - we had free day passes in 2003 after DH returned from the Gulf !
Disney also used to give discounts to us active personnel & their families til the old Magic Kingdom Club card was discontinued... and it wasn't only for 'english army' - you could be Welsh and in the Royal Navy like me

omg Matt from LI. Are YOU serious. I sincerely hope that you were in the Gulf with our brave lads at some time during the last few years. No in fact i take that back. You need to learn a little tolerance and understand that your world is bigger than America. We Brits have stood beside your country all the way and will continue to do so. My husband was one of them that was out there and we went to Seaworld when he came back and could not have got a better or more kind reception. And all for FREE. Our boys are there too. God bless them and keep them all safe.
As for you I only have one further thing to say to you. Get Real!!! oh and by the way we are not English we are Scottish and served proudly with the Jocks.

What on earth do they feed you there in Long Island
You don't need to support Bush or Blair to serve your country.
I'm sure that there are a hell of a lot of US servicemen and women who don't support Bush.....................I take it they should be not given free admission then

They still do. It's a small discount, but better than nothing.

we show that also, and we assumed the same thing
