Can anyone tell me how much money it will cost to upgrade from a regular annual pass to a premium annual pass with the DVC benefit? I don't know if it is worth it or not, but we want to go to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, so will have to pay for them unless we upgrade. Thanks!

The price for a regular Annual Pass is $420.68 (adults).
The price for a Premium Annual Pass is $548.49.
I'm not sure what you mean by "DVC benefit"?

Jaylie, you may get a quicker response on the DVC board. They'll have that info for you.
Rhonda, DVC members get AP's at a reduced rate. It's a new program.

I'm new at this and you are right that my question should have been put on the Disney Vacation Club site! I did that and got some responses. But, thanks also, to Rhonda because I didn't know the current rates for these annual passes. Now I can compare when I try to upgrade with the new discount. I have two trips planned (two weeks and again in October) so I think it'll be worth it.

Hi Jaylie,
Another option is to buy just the water park AP. That's what we did last year. We took our first trip in May, and didn't have time to go to either WP, went back in August, bought the water park passes, and used them every day.
To upgrade our AP's to PAP's it would have been the full amount. To just purchase a water park AP it was around $100 per adult, and $80 for our DD. By doing this though, you don't get the Disneys Wide world of Sports, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island admission though. That was not a problem for us.
Good luck!
