Have heard about being able to get hair braided at the Boardwalk.

Would like some more info: where at the Boardwalk, cost, time it takes etc.

Our DD has long, thick curly hair and to be able to have to not worry about it during the trip....priceless! :earsgirl:

You can't get braids at the boardwalk - if your talking about the cornrows.

You can get it "wrapped" at the boardwalk, MK, AK and most of the resort pools. Basicly they take a strand and wrap it with colored string and beads. Cost in Feb was $2.00 per inch with extra for the beads for the wrap.

If you want the cornrows you need to make an appointment at one of the salons, IIRC, Contemporary, Beach Club and the Dolphin have one - maybe even all the deluxe resorts.

My tip - do it at home the day before. Much cheaper and your not wasting a few hours of vacaton time in the salon. We had my dd's done before our last two trips and it lasted until well after the trip.

Thanks for the info-it is the 'corn row' idea I was thinking of, not just wraps.

I thought so!

I am going to have my girls done prior to day camp next week - Priceless is right!

I think www.allearsnet.com has information on the salons in the resort section. I imagine you can get prices and make an appointment over the phone.
