Hey folks, I'll be staying at RPR for the first time and had a few questions about making room requests. I'm interested in a room near the elevator in tower 3. I have a standard room booked but I'm hoping for an upgrade when I check in (Loews blue member).

Am I better off asking for specific room numbers (if so, please provide me with some)? Or should I simply request a room near the elevator in tower 3? Also, How far in advance of my arrival should I fax my request to the hotel?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I prefer a standard room in Tower 1--1740 or that neighborhood. Anyway, i usually call 3-5 days before I arrive and say "hey, I just want to make sure that you have my loews # with my reservation and by the way, I would really like to be in room X." You may want to inquire about upgrades at that time.

Just got back from RPR and would highly recommend tower 3- closer to the pool, game room, restaurant, and the shuttle or boat. With 2 kids this is a neccesity.

Tower 3 is where the hospitality suites are located so there will be less standard rooms close to the elevator. 3_05 and 3_11 are the closest but they connect to a hospitality suite and may be hard to get. 3_13 - 3_17 (odd) are also close. After that the hallways splits. Just insert the floor number you would prefer in the blank. Floor 7 is club so don't pick that. The view from these rooms will be of the Wantilian courtyard and I-4 which is not so great.

Thanks for all the replies. I'm traveling with 2 10 yr old boys and I'm not too concerned about the view. The proximity to the pool, gameroom and gym are important to me though. I'll keep hoping for an upgrade to a waterview but if not, I'll request something from 3_11 thru 3_17.

Thanks again
