I try to be a Kept Woman as much as I can - I spent 13 years in the field of Human Resources but finally decided I'd had enough of the politics and we were in a position where I could stay home and play at "house" and no we don't have any kids but I have other hobbies and friends to keep me occupied.

But I do have to fund my solo trips to the States so I take on temporary contracts every now and then and more recently I have started working Part-Time as an online Disney Vacation planner ;)

Jonette fingers crossed for you sweetie that you get a new job soon :hug

I am a graphic designer. I used to work for a publisher of childeren's books and had enough of the politics of big corporations. So I went out on my own, do freelance work for the competition..haha! do freelance work for other companies and do all the marketing and advertising for my husaband's company. I just started my own "company" and have been doing a ton of wedding stuff...even some Disney brides! I also do a bit of interior design on the side, textile design was my second major in college and I kind of have a knack for it, comes natural to me.

OH, and I am going for my real estate license this month.

I am an administrative assistant (the state's new fancy title for an administrative secretary) for the Arts, English and Humanities department at a local university. DH is currently (and I mean currently, like at this very moment) interviewing for a new job. He's been a teacher at a parochial school for the last 12 years and is just tired of being treated like a "second class citizen"

He has assured me that our trip to WDW next summer is a go "no matter what" I sure do love that man of mine!

I just finished a year of post-baccalaureate school in hopes of pursuing graduate school. However, now I'd really rather get a job than go to school more (especially since I have a wedding to plan :teeth: ). My degree is in Biology and I wish to work in the field of infectious disease. I currently work as a server in a fancy restaurant in Savannah. I'm in limbo!!!!!!
