DS(14) is going on a day trip to Ypres with his school this week. Tomorrow he has to give his passport to his history teacher for safe keeping and I don't think he'll get it back until Friday!! We only have just over 5 weeks until our WDW holiday and I'm terrified something bad will happen to his passport. It's going to be a long week! Pleas keep your fingers crossed for me that it comes back safe and sound. :worried:

Oh my Libby, I'm sure it will be fine but I do understand why you feel nervous!! I would be the same!

Can you attach it to one of those beeping keyrings, so if it gets lost you can whistle and it will be found in the teacher's desk :teeth:

Fingers corssed for you :)

Hi Libby

My DD has just had 5 days in Paris (she had a fantastic time) and she was responsible for her own passport the whole time. I was worried too (not that we need it soon) she just kept it locked in her suitcase when she got there.

Hi Libby

I know exactley how you feel, my daughter is off to La Toquet in France next week with the school and she also has to take her passport in tomorrow. We are going to Florida in just over 6 weeks and I am as worried as you are.

We will keep our fingers crossed together.

You've got me worrying now - DS goes to Spain 1st in October with the Amateur Swimming Association (essex branch) for a swimming camp, no worry there plenty of time to order a replacement should it be lost, but next year he is off to spain with the school 8 weeks before we go to the World!!!

Thanks for your good wishes. It's now with the Head of History and DS should get it back Thursday when he gets home from Belgium. Perhaps I should have a second countdown for this!

Thank Goodness, I bet thats a relief.

Keep your fingers crossed for me, I dropped my daughters off at the school last Tuesday and she does'nt go until the week after next. Should it get lost it will give me exactley 24 days to sort something out, Yikes!! :)

On the same subject, my BIL just realised he had lost his passport and was due to go on holiday 10 days later - he sent off his form in the Post Office special turnaround thingamyjig and got it back four days later :)
