In November, I have training near the airport in orlando. I am planning on staying at a new Hawthorn suites near there. I just stayed at one and they were supurb.. free coctail hour and hot breakfast for 70.00. I'd rather stay at WDW, but since training is right next door and my work is paying for it i hate to push the issue.. since they are paying my airfare AND letting me stay for almost 2 weeks! : )

There are a couple hotels at the airport onsite. Check the airport website for details. Also, look at hotelkingdom.com for aiport hotels, and of course, priceline is an option.

We are the same way - our flight gets in at 10:00 pm --
It's not incredibly cheap but I got a AAA rate at the Hyatt in the terminal for $114. I'm just praying that the rooms are soundproofed very well.

Why not get a room at Allstars for $49 (see the Mousesaver Codes) and go directly there after your flight ... sign up for quick checkout. Then when you get up the next morning, just call the bellhops at Allstars and tell them you are moving to whatever resort where you are staying (I assume you're staying at a WDW resort), grab the WDW bus and head to the parks, and when you are done playing, just go to your new resort ... your luggage will be there waiting for you so all you need do is check in and call the new bellhop for your luggage. Once, the bellhop even had our luggage already in our new room - even before we got there and checked in.
We do this almost every time we go to WDW. We always come in late the night before, stay real cheap at Allstars the first night and then head to the parks fully rested the next morning. When we are done, we head to the Grand Floridian and our luggage is there waiting for us. It's so easy, no hazzle at all!

Thank you for all the suggestions. We are staying at The Palms Resort for a week as part of a promotion. i hope we are not disappointed in this. I have looked at priceline but I am a bit nervous about booking through this. We are flying out of Halifax Nova Scotia ,to Toronto to Orlando in March. We have been delayed in past years at the airport because of bad weathe ,and and would miss our reservations. Then again if we could book a room for $25.00-$35.00 I wouldn't care if we lost the reservations. We are looking at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our second week. Thanks again for your help. Tiffy
