Just back from the MPH Edinburgh rally

WOW! 225,000 people, what a noise - what a sight! Our bus was leaving at 4.30pm and after queuing for 2 hours we had not moved at all into the march zone, in fact we had only taken about 10 steps. We gave up and stayed in The Meadows for the speakers and singers.

Minute silence at 3pm - amazing to see and hear all those people standing together.

I have a sunburnt nose :rotfl2: but had a great day.

Hi. DD and I were there - we gave up queueing after a couple of hours too and enjoyed the music and atmosphere. Queued up again after the minutes silence and eventually got going again on the march at about 4.00pm!! Well worth the wait though, and brilliant that there were so many people there.
A fantastic, memorable day that we felt very proud to be a part of. Let's just hope it helps to make a difference.
