Aaliyah and R. Kelly

Has anybody else heard about aaliyah and R. Kelly dying in a plane crash? Is this just a rumor? I can't beleive it :(

unfortunately, it's not a rumour. Aaliyah is confirmed dead and one man survived the crash, but his name was not given yet.

yes I heard about it last night. My mother was in bed watching the news and my sister and I were in my room on the computer and watching tv. My mother came into my room and asked if I knew who Aaliya was and told us that she died in a plane crash along with 7 other people. I also heard that there was one person that survived but I heard on the news this morning that the person who survived died later.

omg this is SOO sad!! i like didn't believe it when i heard it on the news... i'm so upset- she was SOO young and was just starting her movie career- she's was starring in the next two Matrixes!! I didn't hear anything about R. Kelly getting hurt though... however, does anyone know who Hype Williams is? Well I knew the reason why Aaliyah was in the Bahamas was b/c she was shooting a videow w/ Hype Williams- I hope Hype Williams didn't die too- he's really talented...

omg I just read about this on the vh1 website... I don't think it said anything about R. Kelly being on the plane. That is so sad! I mean, I'm not a big fan of her or anything, but she was young and successful and very talented. :(

I heard about it last night and then again today. This is so sad! Cuz when I was driving today, I was listening to the radio, and KISS FM had a little 2 minute piece that said stuff about the crash and had her music playing in the backround. I almost felt like crying! It was so sad. I wasn't a big fan of hers either, but she was very talented and so young. :(

It is not a rumor.. it is ture. Sad but true as the deep blue. They say it is because of too much weight. That suviver almost made it :( . She was a good woman. 22 years old.... and a wounderful voice. God has his plan.

I heard about it when I was in WDW. I really couldn't believe it. It was like that when Princess Di died. It's like you're here one day, gone the next. I don't know where people are getting the idea that R. Kelly died. If you hear about Aaliyah, why wouldn't people be sad about R. Kelly? And it went down b/c there were too many people on the plane, and I don't think the pilot was registerd. Now that's a sad way to die; by someone else's mistake. It makes you think twice about traveling be plane. You are just as likely to die in a plane crash as you are in any other mode of transportation.
