Hi, in April 2001 we bought the Canadian Special 7 day hopper passes, buy one get the companion ticket half price. For dd, dh and myself (dd was 15 months old and FREE) the cost of the ticket were $1017.00 (Sear Travel ~ World of Vacations vouchure). Thing is these tickets apparently expire.
Disney Store is selling 5 day and 7 day hopper plus tickets for:
5 day (2 options) $379.67 A, $302.80 C ~ our family total $1062.15
7 day (4 options) $471.89 A, $379.67 C ~ our family total $1323.45
Both these options are more money than our previous tickets BUT they don't expire so we can spread them over 2 trips. I'd like to get to Universal Studios too and they seem to have a nice CDN at par deal. DH likes the expired tickets because we REALLY use the parks (in April we went to MK 4 times, AK once, Epcot twice, MGM twice, BB once and TL twice).
Please help me out! 245 days to go!

Does the seven day park hopper give you the voucher for the character meal. I am also trying to decide which one to get. I believe the seven day with 4 options had the voucher, but you had to purchase it through a travel agent that dealt with Holiday House. I haven`t come to the the part of comparing exact prices, but I`m wondering how the two compare. Does anyone know?

Hi Sandra,
You might want to check out the Budget Board, for the post on www.floridaorlandotickets.com (http://www.floridaorlandotickets.net/discounted_tickets.html) . It looks like you could order the tickets and it might actually be cheaper than what the Disney Store can give us right now.
Here's the link to quite a thread:

Hope that this helps!

Now that you mention it, I recall reading of a 7 day hopper pass that included a char breakfast. That would help me decided which ticket, I must look into this!
243 DAYS UNTIL DISNEY!

Hi SandraC
i bought the childrens Disney CLub 5 day hopper plus passes at the Disney Store in Hamilton and they were $288.97 each. NO taxes were xharged which is nice! the adult Disney club 5 day hopper plus was $361.22 Candadian. Were those prices you were quoted for Disney CLub or regular. I like the non expiring passes. Always a good excuse to go back!

I think that many of us buy a ticket with too many days on it, then feel that we must visit the parks every day. Especially true of the Canadian ticket which as you say expires. Think about your plans carefully. Do you plan on a shopping day, or a day spent visiting other resorts? If so, I would either get the ticket that most closely suited my plans, or at least a ticket with days that never expire.

Any indication that they will have the buy-one-get-one-half-price promo for Canadians that they had last year?
We're going first of December, and were hoping to hold out for these.

Great deal Michelle~
I think you are so right Pooh BWV, we really did DISNEY COMMANDO STYLE in April. I didn't get to do the simpler things like; ride the monorail from ttc to Epcot, visit all the other resorts, spend more time at the pools, visit Kids Village (from Emily's Make a Wish trip in 1998), we didn't get to rent bikes or boats. I will need to think about this more. WOW MORE OF MY FAV THING TO DO, THINK ABOUT DISNEY!

I like the "never expire tickets" too, Sandra. We have used our 5 day park hoppers over March Break, our summer vacation (2 days each time) and we still have 1 day each left on the tickets, which I might use up myself as my brother wants to go with me next year sometime.
We did other things like go to Universal and SeaWorld at March Break and just plain took it easy this summer to enjoy the resorts, shopping etc.
We did have to buy our 1-day Typhoon Lagoon ticket this summer, so in hind sight I probably should have bought the 5 day PH plus but at the time (March Break) I wasn't thinking "waterparks". :)

THX EVERYONE! WOW Julie, 3 trips on one pass is excellent! I am leaning towards a 7 day hopper and spread it over two trips. The thing I liked about the COMMANDO DISNEY TICKETS, is that we went to MK 4 times! I could visit MK EVERYDAY!
