Route from Orlando airport

Don't tell everybody, but there is a way to Kissimmee/WDW without paying any tolls :earsboy:

From the airport follow the south signs 527A (airport boulevard) to 417 Greenway. Instead of going up onto the greenway go under the greenway/417 down the SR530 (Boggy creek road) towards Kissimmee. SR530 turns into 192/441 at the end, then straight up the 192 and enter WDW at the normal Kissimmee entrance

Does anyone know what is the travel time using this route compared to using the toll roads is?

It all depends upon the day and the time of course, but its a little longer due to the stop/start in Kissimmee
Though when on holiday I don't really care about time :sunny:

Thanks for the quick reply - think we'll try this in October as we're staying off the 192 in a villa down towards the sherberth road entrance to WDW & at least once we're on the 192 it's a (relatively) straight road, so theoretically less opportunity to go wrong!

yes, its an easy route to follow, plus you get to see parts of the state you would not normally see <grin>
