I just saw a post from someone that asked about umbrella strollers that are made for taller women and didnt see a response. I am 5'9" and all of the cheaper, light weight umbrella strollers hurt my back. Does anyone know of any for taller women? I am going to Disney soon and would love to not have to carry my big, cumbersome regular stroller. Also looking for a little room in the bottom to carry things.

You can get handle extenders for your regular umbrella stroller. I think I've seen them at Babies R Us.
Here's a link to Right Starts page about them:

I was at the zoo in NYC yesterday & saw someone using those. She was at least 5'9" & looked very comfortable pushing the stroller. I also noticed that the handles of her friend's Maclaren stroller were fairly high.

I am going to check out my nearest Babies R Us and see if they have those. You may have just saved me a whole lot of room in my car as well as a lot of hassle. Thanks again.
Hi there, I know how you feel. I have the same problem. My husband is a handy man and he made a lengther for me...he used a pipe and jonts......and screwed it on......LOL.....then he used color tape. It worked out great. That was on of my concerns when we went too. I did not what to end up with a sour back. Good Luckhttp://home.att.net/~angiemagicalplace
