Does anyone know what time the 4th of July parade is in Fort Wilderness? We check in that day, but wanted to arrive early enough to let the kids see it.

We were in the parade last July 4th with our patriotically decorated Gem Car. You can ask at the front desk to make sure, but I recall lining up at 8:00 am. It begins from the towed car unhitching area at about 9:00 and ends at Pioneer Hall. A reviewing stand was set up at the main intersection where CMs acting as judges took down your name & site # as you passed by. There are some nice prizes for those with the best decorated carts / bikes.
Some folks went all out including an older couple who dressed in 1776 attire and had an elaborately decorated cart complete with patriotic music. They also threw candy and beads to the onlookers along the parade route. Needless to say they won a prize!
It was a great time!! We loved being part of it and wish we could be there this year!
