DC Tickets NOT free for Radio Disney Live

I am so frustated with a DC offer I received earlier this summer. I am wondering if anyone else is having the same problem. We found in our DC newsletter a coupon for "family 4-pack of tickets" to Radio Disney Live. We couldn't send in for these tickets because in the Boston area they are offerred thru' Shaws Supermarket. So we missed out on the sweepstakes to win passes to the backstage party and were told more info. would be coming 8-15. Today I went to the local Shaws and was given a coupon to purchase 8 products and send in for tickets. How does this mean "Free"?

Hi I filled out the form and they sent me 4 tickets for the show in NJ at the Tweeter Center
That was all I had to do. They are lawn seats.
I guess I better go and check them after I get off of the computer. If it says anything different I will post it. But they looked like tickets to me!

These aren't the tickets it is a standard rebate forom that has to be sent to Shaw's (w/ popand cash reg. receipts) in order to get the tickets. I spoke with a supervisor @ DC today and she said there have been quite a few complaints from the Boston area and she gave me a # to call at Radio Disney- being Fri. afternoon I couldn't reach anyone, I'm sure your tickets are genuine.

I posted about these tix on the community board (barely got a response)
(story of my life) Anyway, My dh's secretary gave us a "family four pack" (which we are sooo greatful for) - unfortunetly we are a family of 5. Anyone know how we could get just one more ticket? Not for free.....we are willing to pay for it. Just want to go as a family. The tix we have are for the Sept. 8th show at the PNC Arts Center in New Jersey.

Chances are you could just call the center and order another one. My tickets are for lawn seats so I know it wouldn't be a problem to get another one.

We drove to Shaws Supermarkets early on the day the promotion started. I too was very surprised to find out that you had to purchase 8 items in order to get your "free" tickets! I wanted to leave Shaws and forget the whole thing, but my 3 kids were so looking forward to seeing the Radio Disney concert at the Tweeter center so I went ahead and purchased the items. My tickets arrived in the mail a few days later, and now I find out they are "general admission"! Doors open at 2:00pm, but the real festivities don't start until 4:00pm. In order to get decent seats, I'll probably have to be at the gate at 6:00am!

Somewhere along the way, the Disney Magic for this event got lost...

Had to share this- after 3 calls to the phone # I got a call yesterday from a DJ (?) at least it sounded like one, saying "you've got tickets to Radio Disney Live!" like I had won a prize, lol, I was disappointed I couldn't express my unhappiness to someone but glad to get the tickets.

A woman from Radio Disney in Boston called this morning. She was very sorry
about my displeasure and is sending me 4 tickets to radio Disney!
