I am staying at BWV Nov 24-30 and want to participate in some of the minimeets like Atlantic Dance and Jellyrolls on the 29th. Do I have to sign up to go to these or can I just show up? Are these events strictly DIS and closed to the public? Any info is appreciated. Thanks

The Atlantic Dance is where we're having the opening reception....so this IS a convention event and will be open to convention-go'ers only (I assume--correct me if I'm wrong)....but if there are people meeting at Jellyrolls on the 29th, I am quite certain that this is a mini meet of some sort because it is not on the 'official list of convention evnts', so I'd say you're welcome to join there! :bounce:
Please look at the list of mini meets AND the Magic Meetings page for mini meets that ALL DIS'ers are welcome to attend. :) :) :) In fact, I'd venture as far as to say, that ALL DIS'ers are encouraged to attend when possible. ;) ;) ;)
I can't wait to meet you~~~I'm glad you'll be there! :bounce:

luvdsny,
Too bad Atlantic Dance is a convention only event...but I may see you at the pin trading that will be going on at that time (outside I believe.) I also want to attend the Boardwalk minimeet at 8:00pm Do you know where on the Boardwalk it is?
Thanks, I'll be looking for your lime green ribbon. kaufmancat

Neato! My dad's birthday was March 17th, and March 17th is our (DH and I) wedding anniversary.....10 years next year! :bounce:
I'm not sure where the pin trading meet is, but if you PM the host of that meet and/or Marsha (aka Mac-key Mouse) I'm sure one of them will be able to help you. :)
Looking forward to meeting you. :)

Steve, you're so handy. :D It was much easier for us to come to this board to ask for help, than it was for us to chceck Pat's schedule! LOL ;)
Sometimes things are just toooooo easy, I guess! ::shrugging shoulders with silly grin on face::

People mistake me for Al, the Tooltime guy from Home Improvement all the time. http://www.wdwinfo.com/sites/family/sarcblink.gif
Truth be told, I'm just about as handy as Tim used to be. ;)
