I am a librarian, and as such, I always like to know what other libraries are like. I was curious about Celebration's library, and went to the town's official site. To my dismay, it appears there isn't a library. Am I right? If there isn't a library, WHY? Anyone know?

Celebration has a library--it is part of the Osceola library system.

There is a library in Celebration and at this time it is not part of the Osceola county system. It is called Lakeside Volunteer Library. To obtain a library card you must be a resident of Celebration or be employed in Celebration.

library right at the 27 and 192 junction - in the Publix mall...right by Summer Bay:)

They will let library books to us "snowbirds" for $20 temporary resident card...internet access is free, you just have to sign up when you arrive - sometimes there is a bit of a wait, though:)

HTH!!
