What car size or class?

What kind of car do you suggest for a couple on the larger side. We drive an old Bonneville back home because we are both hearty eaters. (Look out buffet line!) Maybe a van?

If you don't want to go for a van, I would go for at least a fullsize car, and some of those might be not so comfortable. Maybe a premium or luxury car? Perhaps see what each costs? I know the Bonneville is classified as a premium, but the new Bonnevilles in my mind are not as large as the older ones.
