The "one free weekend day" coupon on DisneyClub.com says offer valid thru December 31, 2001. But then, under the "offer limitations" section it says offer valid now through September 30, 2001. Anyone know what this means?
I have reserved a car for use during Thanksgiving week, and using the coupon code, it is letting me have the discount. But, I'm worried - is National going to honor this?

initially it was set to expire 9/30/01 but was extended. Probably just an oversight. I wouldn't worry about it. Thanks for reading the fine print though.

What I was told was it had to be booked by 9/30. Seems like you are so you should be fine. Just bring your confirmation with you and don't worry. :)

The coupon was valid through 9/30/01, not booked by then, they extended it. If the website accepted it, it will be valid. For more info, check the DC website.

Both the one free weekend day and the DC discount have been extended to 12/31/01. I received actual coupons in my most recent DC mailing. The one free weekend day description on the DC website was poorly updated, since only one of the two expiration dates were fixed.
The Coupon ID# and Contract ID# are the same as they were for the offer which expires on 9/30/01. In fact, the National web-baed reservation processor is accepting both the coupon and contract IDs for a reservation in January. I'm assuming that the offer will again be extended (presumably to 3/31/02) sometime in November. In the meantime, I've made a reservation using these codes and my EC account and a second reservation using an ATA contract code (we will be flying on ATA) and my DW's EC account. The CD rates are better, of course, but I don't want to be left hanging if the DC offers are not extended. We'll cancel whichever ressie will not be used once the DC discount picture is clear.

While the coupon may or may not be extended indefinately, I think the contract # is pretty permanent. At least as long as Nat'l is the 'official' rental company. Magic Kingdom Club used their contract # forever.

I also noticed I got a 20% discount on 5 days when the coupon states 10%. Will they honor what I reserved for?

The discount seems to vary anywhere from 5-20%. In print it's fine.

Thanks, Pluto! I really wanted the 20% instead of 10% ;)
Also, I'm a little nervous about submitting the info for the club via Internet, so I think I'm going to wait for the snail mail. I assume I have to have the membership number BEFORE I reserve, or can I change it to EC after the fact? I realize you may not know this, but I'm curious.

I wouldn't try and change it after the fact because that will usually generate a new quote. You can have the EC app faxed to you, fax back and call a week later for number. Call the hotline or email EC customer service.
As a footnote, it's a secure site so doing on line will have little ramifications other that instant satisfaction :)
