I will be celebrating my 45 th birthday at Disneyland in January. I would like to know where I could have a wonderful Birthday lunch. My wife and I are meeting for the first time, a Mom and her two teen aged boys. We met online and are going to meet in person at Disneyland, so I would like it to be a truly magical meal. A meal that we all will remember for life. Thank you for your help.

Haha, when I first read your post I thought it said you were meeting your WIFE for the first time!

Anyway, In Disneyland, I don't think anything beats Blue Bayou! (except Club 33, if you have connections!) The atmosphere is great and I really like the food too. Best fried calamari I've ever had. Many people rave about the Monte Cristo sandwiches too, though I've never tried one myself.

I would make a ressie for the earliest seating, and ask for a table next to the water. If you're staying at a Disney resort, you can make a ressie 30 days ahead. If not, you can make a ressie as soon as you get into the park. www.mouseplanet.com has menus of most of the DL/DCA/Resort restaurants.

Happy planning!

Blue Bayou, definitely. I am turning 45 in December, wish I was having my birthday lunch there!
