Where to Stay - What to do?

We were booked on a Land and Sea in Feb 2006. After 2 trips to WDW in one year - we cancelled the Land. Now our plan is to be flexible (ha) arrive by 10am Thursday for a 4 night Wonder. We want to get a rental car - and hang out until we stay in Port Canaveral Sat nite. We know we want to do Sea World. Any suggestions on a great reasonable hotel near SW - plus something out of the ordinary that DD3 and DH5 might enjoy? We plan to do Kennedy on Saturday. Any cool road side attractions like my dad used to take me to? A great BBQ joint would be great too! Thanks for the replies.

I would stay in Hilton Grand Vacation Club - it is next door to Seaworld sometimes you can get a bargin (if you are willing to listen to the timeshares talk) here.
