Hello Everyone! :wave2:
I am going to WDW with my ENTIRE family (both sides) and I want to find or make a really nice T-Shirt that has our family name and date we were there. I know this seems a little corny, but we have had some serious illnesses in the past two years and this may be the last time the whole family may be able to vacation together, and I want to make it extra special. I know that iron on transfer that you can load into your ink jet or laser printer exsist, and that is definately a possibility given my collection of clipart, but I just am afraid it may look toooo hand -made. Has anyone ever wore T-Shirts with thier family name and date they were there when they were in WDW and if so where or how did you get them?

kellybell-

There are two or three threads on the Themeparks and Attractions board right now that are talking just about T-shirt designs, you might want to try on that board.

Are you kidding?! That's not "corny" at all! My small little family of three are getting matching t-shirts for WDW!! ::MickeyMo Go to DisneyDirect.com. You can pick your disney design and have your family name and date printed on them. Have fun. You all will look so cute! :)

Earlier this month our group of 9 had lime colored shirts (color choice works for our DVC cruise for DH and I, so we get dbl. duty) each with a different character. I did not have names and date on ours but it might be a possibility. I had read mixed reviews about their customer service, but my experience was amazing. I ordered well in advance and on shirt cam in an adult small when I had ordered a child small. I called and they reprinted a new shir and sent the next day. I had it in 2-3 days.
I call that great customer service. Only note is that some of the designs do print fairly light. Tinkerbell and Jasmine came out lighter than the others but is still nice and if you are a Tink fan, it would be difficult to substitued another character.

Good luck and I hope you all have a great trip....wishing you lots of pixie dust :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

A side note....my experience with Zazzle.com was aweful!! I ordered 3 white disney tees, they sent two white and a yellow....so I called them...they made me spend $13.00 to send the yellow one back and did not reimburse me....so after they got it, they sent me another YELLOW tee!! It took a few days of emailing and calling and finally I got ahold of someone and eventually I got my white tee. I would not be as upset if they would have reimbursed me for the cost to send them back thier mistake....but they will not. Hey, that is a breakfast at WDW. I'll never order from Zazzle.com again.

We have used www.customink.com for school shirts and family trip shirts. They are friendly, reasonable and reliable. You can get kids and adult sizes. I don't work for them :) .
Have fun!

The problem is that every style I wanted required a minimum order of 6 pieces and there are only two of us :sad2:

Hi Kellybell, :earsgirl:
Hey here is a great website call zazzle.com-disney ink shop. I love it, it has every disney character you could ever think of. And along with that it has sayings for each character for example for tinkerbell one of hers is "Who you calling a princesses" I am a fan of tink myself. I hope this helps. Have fun on your trip. :wave2:

Thanks for the advise about the different on line custom t shirt companies, but with 12 t shirts to purchase I was trying to do it "homemade" and design and print out an iron on transfer and was hoping to get some title ideas! I just think doing it that way will not only be less expensive but almost more custom if you know what I mean. But please keep all the ideas for "Homemade" t shirts coming!!

You probably don't need this, but www.disneydirect.com (http://www.disneydirect.com) has a sale on their Disney t-shirts, that say Disney on the front for $9.99 per t-shirt for up to 2XXL t-shirts.

They usually cost $16.99.

You can use the code "EXTRATWENTY" and get another 20% taken off the $9.99.

So they end up about $7.99 for a $16.99 Disney t-shirt.

Maybe you could add something crafty to the front or back.

I hope this helps someone.

Sincerely, Ray

My sister and I always get matching shirts when we go into the parks and were all grown up.
