WDW to US/IOA and SeaWorld

I'd appreciate some opinions on the various types of transportation available from WDW property (PO-Riverside) to US/IOA and Sea World.

Mears Shuttle:
Where would I pick this up?
How much does it cost?
How long does it take?
How reliable?

Taxi:
Are they readily available? both from PO-Riverside and from the parks?
In other words, are the cabs available outside PO-Riverside? what about coming back after the day at the parks? are the cabs available outside the parks?
What do you think would be the approximate cost?

I know there are towncar services that will basically bring you door to door and back but that may be a little pricey. :rolleyes:

If anyone knows of any other options I can check into I'd appreciate it.

Another option for you to consider...

I've always found it cheaper to rent a car for our entire stay. We usually need transportation to/from the airport and then again for at least 2 days to/from Universal.

It will depend on how many people you have in your party and how many times you need non-WDW transportation.

You can get a Movie Star Shuttle pass through Universal. 1-800-711-0080

It consists of round trip transportation (on Mears Shuttle bus) to and from Universal's parks and park admissions.

Round trip & 1 day admission to either Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios
$60.95 adult $50.95 child

2 Round trips & 2 days admission to Islands of Adventure & Universal Studios (park hoppers)
$107.95 adult $91.95 child

I think just the ride on a Mears shuttle is about $12.00 per person/round trip.

Non-discounted ticket prices are currently:
1 day/1park $48.00 adult $39.00 child
2 day hoppers $89.95 adult $76.95 child

So, for the 2 day deal Movie Star Shuttle deal, its $18.00 per adult and $15.00 per child for 2 days worth of transportation. Not bad. :D

Can I use the "Movie Star Shuttle" if I already have my 2 day-2 park tickets for US/IOA?

Or does the shuttle only come with the package of "tickets and transportation"?

The Movie Star Shuttle is a ticket/transportation package offered through Universal in cooperation with Mears.

For shuttle only, one would have to call Mears directly. From what I hear, it's $12.00 per person/per day/roundtrip.
