Fabric Stickers???

Okay...Today is the second time I've seen Sandy (on the Scrapbooking show on DIY) do a sample layout using fabric stickers. Have there always been adhesive fabric pieces or is this something new? I can't find it. Should I just go to the fabric store? Help! Thanks! :goodvibes

I don't do Scrapbook stuff, but I have made Fabric Stickers. And I also have seen them on this show...
What I used/supplies;
Sticker maker machine(on sale at Micheals this week)
Washed and ironed fabric( I wash ALL of my fabric- removes sizing that bugs like to eat)

What I did;
Cut out the piece of fabric I wanted to make a sticker out of

What I did;
Cut out the piece of fabric I wanted to make a sticker out of with a seam allowance
Ran the fabric throug the sticker machine(510 Krylon?)
trimmed the fabric/sticky piece to the size and shape I wanted
Carefully pulled it off the backing...

If you have a Die Cut machine you can use a ton of different fabrics. Just be aware some will have loose threads if handled to much... gold/metalit lame, some silk, loose woven cottons or any very loose woven fiber.

You can use printed fabric- there are a ton of different prints, even some Disney stuff! Animals, cartoons, lighthouses, etc.

You can print your photos onto fabric and then make it into stickers- there are a lot of printable fabric sheets for sale at craft stores or WalMart. I make my own with Reynolds Freezer Paper(it has a plastic coating on one side and that side is shiney), and ironed on fabric. If it is not getting wet it won't run. I iron the fabric to the shiney side of the freezer paper, trim it to fit in the printer tray and carefull print on it.

Thanks for both of your responses. I JUST purchased a Xyron this morning at Michaels, but not the 510, just a 2 1/2 inch sticker maker. I will have to wait a little while for the 510. :)

Those particular stickers that Sandy used looked like Mrs. Grossman's to me. She seems to favor that brand of stickers a lot. I have not looked for them, but I bet you could find them in a store that had a good selection of Mrs. Grossman's. Or you could make you own like the above poster!

I think I must be on the right track then. I wrote a note to myself to check the Mrs. Grossman's stickers after visiting the DIY Scrapbooking website. I didn't see anything in particular about the fabric stickers she used, but it did show that the stuffed ones were by Mrs. Grossman's. Is there a Mrs. Grossman's website? I think I'll go find out now! :)
