Hi, has anyone been to either places? We're taking ds2 to see Thomas the Tank Engine in St. Thomas and thought we might also go to one of these places. Would one of them be better for a 2 year old than the other? Thanks for any info! Jen

StoryBook Gardens is quite cute, there have been some renovations done in the last year or so. StoryBook does have a website and sometimes you can get coupons for $$ off right off the website.
Wally World is no longer in existence - demolished last year - land being used for more "big box" type stores, etc.
Hope this helps,
Sandra

I would definitely go to storybook gardens! They have a little splash pad now for the kids and they have really cleaned it up. It is also really cheap to get in to.

You could also do the London Regional childrens Museum. Kind of like a science centre but for the younger kids

My parents took me to storybook gardens when I was 4. I am now late 30ish and I remember a lot of it! It is perfect for little kids who really don't need the big thrills.

Wally World is closed, has been for a year or two now. Your son will love Storybook Gardens. It is perfect for a two year old. There is lots of interactive things for him to experience. It did have a renovation a few years ago and it looks good!
I live in St. Thomas and had heard Thomas was coming! If you have time while here we have two beautiful parks - Pinafore and Waterworks. They both have great playgrounds. Waterworks Park has ponds with little bridges you can walk over and try to spot the turtles, fish and frogs. My daughter used to love to go down there when she was small.
Enjoy you stay and if you need to know anything else just ask, I check the boards regularly! :flower:

Thanks everyone! I found the Storybook gardens website and it looks great for ds and cheap too! Ds loves water and animals so it should be fun. I'm just hoping for great weather now :sunny: . We're staying right in London as none of the hotels in St. Thomas had pools or suites. Thanks again, Jen

Wally World may have closed but most of the water slides from there have relocated to East Park Golf Gardens (http://www.eastparkgolf.com/). You might want to check them out...
