WDW Nearby Grocery Stores?????

Hello All ~ Please tell me about the WDW nearby grocery stores. I have only shopped at Goodings because it's close. I hear there is a Winn-Dixie and Publix in the area. Can you please compare them to Ontario grocery stores [ie: Dominion, Loblaws, Price Chopper, No Frills etc.,.]. I am looking for cheap groceries, variety, clean store. Thanks! Sandra

If you have a vehicle there is a Winn Dixie just down from the Cross Roads Centre. When you get to the lights at the end of Hotel Plaza BLVD turn left and Winn Dixie is about a mile or so down and it is on the right hand side. It is just past the Sizzlers on the right better prices than Publix and closer. The Publix is alot like A&P even the pricing and the Winn Dixie is more like No Frills but they are very clean and well stocked.

If you don't have a car, take the #56 lynx (public transportation) bus from the TTC (MK) to Publix on #192 at Old Town. This would be your closest. There is another Publix 15 minutes further down the road, and a super Walmart. Prices are fine. They supply bags etc. The Walmart is about 25 minutes on the bus, and the bus runs twice an hour. $1.25 each way. The first Publix is about a 10 minute trip.

There is a brand new Super Walmart on SR535 down by the Buena Vista Outlet Mall. From DTD you would turn right on 535 , travel under I4 and it is on your right hand side. About a 8 minute drive. The prices are way better than Goodings and Publix. I was there in May and they were just stocking the shelves. It should be open by now. The Walmart down on I192 is getting shabby. On the other hand the Super Target on I192 is beautiful!
