I still can't believe how good this deal is! For two adults, we're staying at All Star Movies for 9 nights with 10day hopper passes and free dining for $1600CAD. Amazing! What a treat it will be to have more table service meals!! Anyone else going?

I bought into the whole DVC thing (third trip this year, ). Before DVC we always did the dinning plan, much less thinking. This dinning plan is great because you have only one table meal, two is too much! I would love take advantage, but it is still cheaper for me to stay in the Villa and pay for meals then stay in a resort. Now if DVC gets the computer qlich worked out and we can buy into the plan, I will do that.

Have fun and try restaurants you have not had the chance to before! Don't forget your ADR's as it should be busy, at least in the restaurants. Good Luck on the food adventure!

I am going also.

All Star Music
basically 4 adults....myself, DH, DS 16 and DD 13. 10 nights, 7 days premium park passes, free dining and travel insurance for just under $2100. I might change it to 10 day passes cause it is only a few dollars more.

WDW-1st timers - Is your price in Canadian or American dollars? Our price was $1260 or so in USD dollars. Either way, you sure got a great deal!! Enjoy! Have fun everyone! :teeth:

The price is/was in American dollars. Yes it was an excellent price. It seems that my travel agent has been getting quite a few calls and personal bookings due to me recommending them. I used CAA in my home town. :flower:

We aren't going until December this year so I am hoping that they offer the same thing. Figures because we went the last 2 years in early October.

We just squeak by getting the free dining as we arrive Aug 21st at POFQ (the day the plan starts). We were supposed to come back the 28 but we've extended until the 30th because the dining is free. :cool1: We (me, 2 DD's & DH) are so excited because this is our first rip to WDW!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :earseek: :cheer2:

We're going to celebrate my 50th birthday at the Polynesian from Aug 26-Sept 1. Total price for 6 nights with free meal plan for 2 adults and 2 teenagers came to a bit over $2900. Thank you Disney!!!

We're going!!! For my DH, DD3, and I at All Stars Movie, we are paying $780.00 US. We only got a one day base ticket each because we already got our 7 day passes through airmiles. I can't believe the deal!!!

If it wasn't for the Free Dining, I wouldn't be going in Sept (3-10).

I was just there in December and just got back in May from a 2 week vacation. When I heard about the free dining I booked in about a week. (I had to find airfare and book the time off at work)

Two meals and a snack is almost perfect. Now if the parks would only bring back the re-fillable mugs I would be all set. (Or if you could use your hotel one for that in the park)

Yep add us to the list! We were planning a maybe return in November. Now we bumped it back to Oct and cannot believe dining is Free.

Funny I had to explain that to my MIL. She still wasn't convinced that October was a good time to go. I said I can't pass up FREE dining. "So it's FREE she said". I said "Yes." Then she said "well then we need to go that time for sure in order to take advantage of that." I'm thinking uh ya that's what I've been telling you and she said "I didn't know Free meant Free?"
I laughed and then thought what the heck did you think it meant? :rotfl:

Still looking for a bargain on flights :sad2:, looks like the free dining $ we save may end up in flights. Isn't that the way? Crappy!

We were planning an October trip................OCTOBER 2007!!!! I was mad at Disney for offering these free meals when I couldn't go. We had been 3 times in less than a year, and decided other matters needed our financial attention. But I couldn't get my mind off of those free meals. I got madder, and madder. Then I just booked (Sept 30 - Oct 10 at ASMu). Now I'm not mad at Disney anymore (Go figure).

My family had already book ASMO for February along with a 3 day cruise with most of it already paid for...then came the FREE Dining Plan! Having lurked on the DIS for a few months, I could not pass this up and booked another trip!
Haven't been since 1997, have never stayed on site and now I'll get to do it twice in less than a 6 month period!
Travel Party: Myself, DH, DD 6, DS 5, and nephew 14 staying at POR Oct 3rd - 13th!
