And I will be bringing a surprise to give away to the first five families that are listed above that come to the meet and introduces themselves to me. (and couples, solos are family, too.)
Well, I thought that I would propose a DIS Meet and a Mousefest Meet for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
Although the MVMCP doesn't start until 7:00 P.M., the "Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas Show" started at 6:15 P.M last year.
And the past four years, people with the MVMCP ticket were allowed to enter the park at around 4:00 PM. and receive their MVMCP wrist bands. This could allow you three more hours of MK park time and you wouldn't have to waste a park hopper ticket. Unless you are very young and can spend all day at the parks until after midnight...lol.
I thought that this show would be a great way to start the night in a holiday spirit with Mickey and Minnie and the whole crew.
Would anyone like to attend this DIS Meet?
I'm sure that there will be a lot of other meets this early that night from the DIS and all of the Mousefest websites.
Last year, Deb Wills of www.AllEarsNet.com (http://www.allearsnet.com/) and Dave Card of www.*********** (http://www.***********/) and Dave and Jennifer Marx of www.Passporter.com (http://www.passporter.com/) had a Mousefest Meet in the MK Rose Garden at 9:15 P.M. to watch the Wishes fireworks show. This year it will be from 8:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M..
And wouldn't it be nice if this was the first DIS meet to participate in Mousefest.
You can sign up to get 2005 Mousefest Meets updates at www.mousefest.org (http://www.mousefest.org/) .
šoš You can click on my links below to see all of the meets scheduled during the 2005 Mousefest meets in December, and the 2004 MVMCP Guidemap for planning.

I was not aware that the DIS was not apart of mousefest!! Man, with a website this large, we could rent an entire park for a night!! :earseek: I'm still hopeing to make it down this year for a few days. Hopefully I'll have the chance to meet lots of my new DIS friends!!

Hi Ray!
Sounds like fun! As usual I'll be at WDW at "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year" but not exactly sure what nights I'm going to MVMCP - still working on my game plan but if I at all possible I'll try and meet up with you all! :sunny:

Hi, Dennis. I hope that you can make it again. You and your DW were the only Taginators that I got to meet last year. And we only got to meet on the monorail on the day that you were leaving.
I hope www.tagrel.com has the Epcot tour thing with those new two wheel devices. I can't remember the name of the device. I want to sign up for that meet, too.
I keep trying to get Pete Werner to join the Mousefest. I think that he deserves the recognition for starting such a large forum that so many people enjoy. I think that he would have a great time, and realize how much everyone enjoys his founding of this Disney Information Station website.
I hope that things work out so that you can be there.

Hi, Mary. I hope that you can make it too. I know what you mean. I know that December 1st is the Mousefest day at MVMCP, but that is all that I have seen yet.
I guess when they list the other "park" days, and then start listing all of the meets, then I can decide what to do.
I will see you December 2nd at Karen's Jellyrolls DIS meet.

I'm sorry that I'm going to miss your meet, too, Danny and Belinda. This will be the second year that I will be going on the Mousefest Wonder Cruise. Last year was a lot less expensive, but I really enjoyed the cruise and company.
Hopefully, I can see you when I get back on the 8th.

I would say maybe right now, its only because I want to see if I can get the 25% discount for the mvmcp for the same day sale for ap holders. Anyone have any luck with this in the past, it might be me and the 3 ds and maybe dh if his confence is not doing anything that night, we dont know his event schedule yet.

Hi, luvmarypoppins. I hope that you can make it. I think that I remember buying a MVMCP ticket several years ago when at WDW at a resort that I was staying at. I was curious about the price being a few dollars lower, and I think that it was an annual pass discount of some kind.
I guess it depends on whether or not they sell out or not. They haven't sold out this early before. Usually it has been a later or last Friday that has sold out. I guess that WDW is trying to attract more visitors during the week days.

Hi! I am going to try very hard to make it to the meet!!
We are going to the MVMCP Dec. 1st :) This is my first time going to the party, and my first trip to DisneyWorld with my son. He'll be 20-months old, so nap time, travel time, and everything are a little uncertain. But if at all possible, I (Cheryl) and my DH and DS will be there!
I want to try to see Mickey's Night Before Christmas show anyway, and I don't think we'll be able to make it that late at the party, so the first show should be the one we hit.
Hope to be able to meet you! Thanks for all the great and helpful info on these boards!!

You can wear anything glittering that you want to. I bet you look cute in your Minnie santa hat, too.
I found some blinking necklaces that WDW was selling at Epcot this past August that were battery operated and had three different patterns.
I was going to put one on my santa hat, and put three on the front of my mobility scooter. Guess what shape I'll make of those three necklaces? Yep, you're right. A Mickey's head.
And I will be bringing a surprise to the first five families that come to the meet and introduces themselves to me.

Hi, Denise. This outdoor theater is located next to the Zurg ride attraction. You know the ...away and beyond...ride.
It shouldn't take too long. About 10 minutes if you don't get stuck in the crowds. You could come from Crystal Palace, cross Main Street down to Tomorrowland, and hang a right, past the ...Zurg...away and beyond ride.
I'll be waiting outside, on the left side of the entrance with my santa hat.
Last year the show started at 6:15 P.M. the last couple of years, so we were going to go in at 6:00 P.M. since the theater fills up pretty fast.
I hope that you all can make it.

Someone help me please. I am trying to time this. We have the tickets, we also have an adr for cp for like 4:05, I hate the time, but thats all they had and that was like almost 90 days out. So am I right in assuming I can only get the wristband at 4, we have ap's so we can get into the park anytime before 4 anyway. Now I need to eat fast so we can get over to the theater before 6, what time should we line up there. I cant do stairs well so the ds will just go sit where they want, but I will ask to sit up higher so I dont have to do alot of stairs with dh.

We had a great turnout from a lot of DISers and other websites for the show.
They changed the times from 6:15 to 6:45 P.M., and instead of moving everyone to Tomorrowland, they moved everyone to Frontierland.
We took up two whole rows in the middle from the DIS, MousePlanet, Passporter and others.
Does anyone have any pictures of the meet. I sure would like to see them.
