On these threads someone mentioned skyauction. I went there and was shocked at how low someof the houses and condos in Orlando were going for.

We have stayed at Vistana for years compliments of my in-laws nad would love to stay there. It looks like I could bid and be there for about $300 -400 for the week ina 3 bedroom.

I also saw the Rosen Plaza hotel with rooms that would end up being about $50 a night. On their website it would be $125 for the same time frame.

Please let me know your experience with Skyauction or Rosen Plaza.

Thanks! Nancy :wave2:

the per night auctions are not as good...if you read the fine print they have a nightly service charge on top of your bid....so if you won the bid at 55$ , it would actually cost you approximately 87$ per night .....to the total night cost you would then have to add 15$ service charge ( they also have 20$ a night seasonal charges june 1 - july 31 ) which would then add to the final cost ...eg 55$ + 32$ + 20$ x number of nigths up to 7 + processing fee )

ready set go seems to be the best value since you are bidding on a week but with service charge and processing fee you actually start out at 210$ then whatever your bid is.....say 40$ total would be 250$

vistana used to show up there quite often....today only see 6 ....but three of those have airfare component

there is one there for 2 bedroom now .....bid of 105$ closes in one hour......if that bid held it would be 325$ total for a week in a two bedrooms but dates are for

most auctions are for 1 or 2 bedrooms, the 3 bedrooms do appear but not as often
