transfer between resorts

Hi,

Could anyone answer this ?! please.

If we book a 10 night stay in one resort then 11 in another resort, do disney help with transport.

Let me explain, we were thinking about staying at WILDERNESS LODGE for 10 nights then transfering to SSR for the rest of our 21 night stay, we would like to know as we are not using a car, how much help we can get from disney vacation club to move our stuff.

Hope you can help, as I would love to stay in more than one resort.

This will be no problem, just let bell services at the WL know that you are transferring to SSR and when they collect your luggage they will have it shipped over to the new resort.

We've done this in the past between POR and BW and from CBR to OKW without any problems. On both occasions the bags have been there by the time we checked-in around 4pm.

We stayed at WLV about 4 years ago now, around the start of December when all the decorations were up, as well as the huge Christmas tree in the lobby of the lodge itself. The place is just beautiful, and really convenient for the MK as well. I'm sure we'll stay there again one day.

Just be aware that the luggage CAN go missing. We transferred between All Star Sports and All Star Movies and they completely lost our luggage. DH and DS had to go and look for it themselves after LOADS of telephone calls - they kept saying it was coming, but by 10pm we wanted it THEN! It was hidden in a storeroom at All Star Music!!

Hi we had out first stay at the WL and loved it so much that we bought into DVC at VWL on that basis. We are having our fourth trip in October and can't wait. I think you will love it to the theming is great and the Whispering Canyon Cafe mustn't be missed, but be prpared to join in to make the most of the experience.

WLV is great around Christmas time. It's very relaxing & you feel 'away' from all the hustle & bustle. Can be a good thing or not depending on what you want.
