Where to buy large ziplock bags?

I can't find the 2.5 gallon bags anywhere! Can anyone recommend where to buy them?

I got them at BJs (or was it Costco?). One of the warehouses...

I buy them at Target. They are 2.5 gallon I think. You get 10 in a box for around $3.50.

I've seen them at Wal-Mart and Target (which is where I got mine).

I have found them at Wal-Mart try the camping area and also at Krogers.hope this helps, I picked up 2 boxes incase I didn't see any for a while. :banana:

The only place I've seen them around here is at Wal-Mart. Thanks for the tip @ Target...I'll have to check at the nearest one.

I always pick them up at Target (Hefty brand), but I will definitely have to check out Aldi's now!!!

My Wal Mart doesn't carry them, but most of our grocery stores do now. They're between $2.50 to $3.50/box of ten.

I have never tried packing this way. But I am certainly considering it for our next trip. Especially if I can convince dd's to cruise. :)

Hi,
I purchased the Hefty One Zip bags (2.5 gallon, I believe) to put each of my kids' outfits in for each day. When I rolled them and got all the air out everything looked fine but then the next morning some of the air had come back in and the "vacuum effect" was gone. I'm disappointed but it seems they do not seal completely. I was going to go buy the regular ziplocs but I think I'm just going to skip the bags and pack the old-fashioned way! I've already busted my budget buying all the other things my Type-A Disney Obsessed brain thought was necessary. I'll still use the bags I bought to keep things organized, though. Good Luck!

Might try Linens N things or Bed Bath and Beyond or who knows maybe Target. Look for "Spacebags". They are basically glorified ziplocks but once you roll out the air it stays out much better. A little more expensive than the big Ziplocks. These are not the "need the vacuum" kind.
