pin event question

alright I have one more question for all you pin event experts.... this rsp thing... say there are 10 pins I want... do I just put them in the order I want them on the first rsp ... orrrrr do I have to narrow it to the top 3 and put one on each rsp? in other words... if available will I get all things listed ont eh first rsp? I hope that makes sense as to what I am asking

You want to list them all on the first RSP from the most wanted to the least wanted. Keep in mind the edition sizes when making your choices. The second and third RSPs are for pins that you want duplicates of (for trading, etc). If you do not get a pin on your first RSP it is highly unlikely that you will get it on the 2nd. Hope this information helps.

I was trying to decide whether to put (for example) 9 choices on the one or.. 3 on 3 rsp's but if I understand right I would have greater luck getting the choices by putting the 9 on the single rsp... and that it would be best to put the lower edition sizes higher on the list ?

Go to the information page (http://eventservices.disney.go.com/pintrading/event?id=5681) for the September event and scroll down. The last two items they have listed (Adobe/Acrobat Reader required) concern the procedures and a FAQ for the RSP process. Studying them will assist you in putting your selections down properly.

thanks cheshire I had tried looking at those earlier and couldn't get them to load. alright now one more question...when do you pay for the items..when theya re awarded by the rsp or when you pick them up?

If I understand your question....you have 3 RSPs, because you have 3 people going. If that is true, and the other people don't want pins, split your order between the 3 RSPs. Or if there is something you REALLY want and it is a low LE size, put the same one on all three RSPs to increase your chances of getting it.

They will notify you of the results by abouth the 15th of August and will charge your credit card about the 25th. They will let you know. The reason for the short delay is sometimes members of a family or group may each list something that is LE12 at $500 and be selected for more than one in the group; this allows you to cancel.

BTW, at the event itself there will be a 4th RSP and a list of what is still available (due to either not selected or turned back). Also, if you could not get the files to load, at the very bottom of the page is a link to Adobe's site and you can download, at no charge, the most current Adobe/Acrobat Reader.
