I am just wondering as I am thinking about my next trip that I would love to begin to plan for my usual trip time in Nov. or Dec (not the holiday weeks). I was given a pin code last year for mods for $79 and really would love to be able to get that again but am not holding my breath. Are you willing to pay rack rate as a solo to go to Disney? Do you think future trips will be shortened because of the rack rate cost for rooms?
I am finding it a bit difficult this year to plan my next trip as it seems the future is uncertain. Rack rate for the dates I want for mods with tax are $166 a night (when I paid $88 for exact same room last year). It's double and I don't feel as though I will pay that for a trip. I also don't want to pay $100+ to stay at a value (esp. knowing that they used to $60 to $70 a night with tax). I have pricelined past stays and stayed offsite as well but don't intend on renting a vehicle. My dreams are lacking pixie dust. I am thinking at worst that I may cut my trip short if I don't get a code and may end up at the values when I love the moderates. Am I alone or are others doing this as well?
