Booked our anniversary trip for the fall at GCH!

Since I don't have any connections :sad1: , we can't do our 25th Anniversary Celebration at Club 33 during our upcoming DL trip.

Any dining suggestions? Does DL have an equivalent to Victoria & Alberts?

DH and I will be celebrating our anniversary (5th) in October at GCH. We've been told the Napa Rose (GCH) and the Vineyard Room (CA) are both lovely restaurants; perhaps not as exclusive as V&A or Club 33, but on par with Artist's Point in WL.

Maybe some DLR folks will have some better insight. Have a wonderful 25th anniversary!

I've heard that sometimes you can find dinner at Club 33 on eBay, but so far I've had no luck. :(

This is my 33rd birthday, so I was kind of hoping!

I suggest Napa Rose. Rates high in the Zagat guide. Dined there for in-laws anniversary and thought the food and service were excellent.

I was at both Napa Rose and the Vineyard Room last weekend and for something really special I'd go with the Vineyard Room.

We were at Napa Rose last week (4 adults), We all said if this is Orange County's number one rated restaurant they are definately in trouble. The server was well, lets just say he didn't have a mind of his own, no honest opinions on anything..everything we chose was his favorite..lol. Very annoying.

The food was less than spectacular, actually we all wished we would have went for burgers. We definately will not eat there again.

The next night we went over to DL hotel to Captain hooks wine cellar..now, the restaurant above was booked for private party so we couldn't eat there, but they do have an appetizer menu you can order off of while you are enjoying wine. Both appetizers were outstanding. They also offer free cheese/bread/fruit for those testing wines. Would have loved to eat in the restaurant (don't know the name..it is above hooks wine cellar at DL hotel). If the appetizers were any indication the meal would have been very satisfying. I would say go there. It is an easy walk from GC hotel. There are also some great 50th celebration photo opportunities there.

We're going in September - 10th to 17th.

I still can't decide on a restaurant. I'll have to do some reading about ambiance - food - magic!
