Yes, just last week I received this necklace that I won. I also won(twice) a coupon from Keebler for free cookies. :cool1: Nothing major but still wins. Keep sweeping, it will pay off one day.

Get this - my sister won a trip out west - Montana, I think, to one of those ranches - you know staying in a cabin, going horseback riding, bbq under the stars - the whole nine yards. I am so jealous, I could scream. I enter and enter and enter all these sweeps and never win squat.
This isn't the first big thing she has won, either. A couple of years ago, she hit the lotto for $2000.
DH is making fun of me - there is no way I would want to go on a western vacation - my idea of roughing it is a hotel with no tv. Remind me to check on that when going to a B&B - how quaint, but again, not my cup of tea.
Well, I might want to go if it were free, I say, again he just laughs at me.

Just wanted to share my good news with everyone. I received an e-mail today entitled "Winning Notification". I figured it was from some Disney contest I had entered. Imagine my surprise when I found out that I had won the "Foundation Lottery" and my prize was.....$1.8 million dollars US!
Too bad it's a fake and I'll never see a dime. But just think of the Disney trip I could have planned with that kind of money!

Trip to Disney World!!! Flights and 4 day Park Hoppers for 4. A Savannah room at Animal Kindgom Lodge for 3 nights. We went last month and it was wonderful.

Our son has moved to Naples so he drove over and we had some spectacular days together. All it cost was meals and a rental car.

I had some plusses leftover from old passes so we even got in an afternoon at Typhoon Lagoon to try out the new "Gusher."

It CAN happen :)

I got a phone call from Radio Disney. I had entered by filling out a card at my local mall.

When the DJ called me and said "congratualtions, you won" I failed to whoop. She asked "what, no scream??" But, I figured it was a timeshare come on. I told her I'd scream when I'd heard what I needed to do to claim my prize.

I got written notification in the mail about 4 days later and had to sign official papers accepting the prize and the tax liability. Then we had a full year to claim the prize.

Very Cool.

It's nice to know that people actually win these things! With local contests, school fundraisers and raffles, it seems like "relatives" are getting all the prizes.
