Why do I keep getting email notifications of

responses to my posts, when I have email notification turned off in my options?

Am I missing some other place I need to indicate this?

Did you have email notification turned on at some earlier time?

When you subscribe to a thread, the notification options get set for that thread (email, no email). If you change your notification options in your profile, they don't change for threads you've already subscribed to- only for future subscriptions. Make sense?

So if you subscribed to a thread with email notification and you want to turn that off, you'll need to unsubscribe and then resubscribe to make the change.
