Hope you can help,

We hired a minivan last year from Dollar - I think it was a Dodge Caravan and it had integrated child seats in it. We were told by Dollar that we didn't have to hire any other car seats as this would do the job. Well, I wasn't happy with my 2yo in it and paid for "proper" child seats. But this year my eldest child is 5 and was wondering for what age are these seats aimed at???

Also this time we are hiring from Alamo and they say a Chevrolet Astrovan may be allocated do these have the integrated seats in them??

Hope you can help

Thanks

Lisa

Hi, I'll try to help. We have a Chevy Venture, which has the integrated child seats, and we love them for our kids, but ours are only good for kids up to 35 inches, which both of our kids are over now (ages 4 1/2 and almost 3). So, we have them in boosters now. So, I can't say for sure, but your 5 y.o. might be too big for the seat, I'd call and ask what the height/weight restrictions for the integrated seats are. Good luck!

Thanks Pajamommy

I've just had an email from Alamo saying their minivans don't have the integrated seats in them. So I'm just going to take my own.

Thanks again
