New poster - how do you all keep up?

Hello all,

I've been popping in and out of here for months but just decided to start posting. I love these boards, but I have a question for you all: How do you keep up with them? There are so many forums that I'm interested in, and there are so many posts every day. Every time I come on here, I find myself here for hours! It's too addicting!!

I am in the same boat....first ever post after "lurking" for quite some time......I would also like to know how everyone keeps up with all that interests them.

I usually just read the new posts when I come here and check my user CP to see if there are any active threads.

I see we've converted a few more lurkers! I agree, it's not easy keeping up with all of the new posts, especially on the more active threads. I try to set aside a couple of hours each day just to go through them and catch up on everything. Also, once a week I'll go through my User CP and delete any threads that haven't had responses for at least a week. Then I'll go through the various forums to see if there are any new threads that I may be interested in (I never look back more than 2-3 days, though; otherwise, I'd be here forever!).

Anyway, welcome to the DISboards, newbies! Enjoy!

I usually check in once a day, but am easily confused will reply or post something one day and can never find the thread i was on when i go to check it out later- i'm not real good at this.

What part of Mass are you from, have you checked into the "mass" thread yet??

Welcome to the DIS both of you. :disrocks: It took me about two posts to become completly addicted!!! :rolleyes: but if you are really interested in something, I find that I can do a search on the topic and search from there... but everyone has their own system. Enjoy your posts!! :thewave:
