i saw on mousesavers some of the advantages of AP passes are they really worth it? what do you really get?

about 45% off of my hotel room. And when you're talking rack rates of > $300 on some of these hotel rooms -- you can see where we start talking big bucks.
There are some restaurant discounts and other things -- but that hotel discount pays for the pass itself. Oh -- and you get to use the fingerprint scan machine on the way in -- my husband considers that an attraction.

Even without the discounts, APs are worth it if you plan to go into the parks for more than 8 days. If you can manage to book more than one vacation during the year to WDW, it is more than worth it. Having an AP has helped me get to WDW more frequently than before! :D
