best offsite hotel with slide

Hi! I'm planning a vacation for myself, Dh and 4 children ages 4,7,11,13. My family all agree a great pool with a slide is a must. We also will be visiting the WDW parks at least 4 days so it also needs to be close to WDW. Can anyone recommend a hotel which can meet our needs?Thanks.:)

The Sheraton Safari is a fun-themed hotel with a great pool with python slide. We haven't actually stayed there personally (but are planning too on a future trip). If you do a search here, you'll find other DIS'ers who have stayed there and recommend it.

The only other off-site I can think of is Ron Jon (but they've changed their name to Isle of Bali ?? - somebody correct me on this if I'm wrong). They have a little water park type pool area that looks like a lot of fun.

The Marriott Orlando World Center had an incredible slide in it's main pool. It is only about a half mile from Disney.

Caribe Royale Suites is another with a pool slide, I think, while the new Opryland Hotel will have a terrific fun-pool with several slides (opening in February).

PS Ron Jon's Resort used to be Isle of Bali. Ron Jon's is now the right name!

Caribe is a great resort! You get a suite for the price of a room, breakfast included, along with free transfers to Disney. Pool has water slide and waterfalls, and it is a heated pool (very nice in January!) Seperate Fun Pool for small kids, too! Perfect place for the number of people in your party.

Safari is a nice hotel, too! Not many food options, though.
