Please tell me everything you can about Clarion Universal Hotel!!

Hi! My husband and I ran across a great deal from our regular local travel agent in the Sunday paper yesterday. The hotel indicated in the deal was the Clarion Universal. We are a little nervous about staying offsite but this particular person we're dealing with is originally from Orlando and assured us that we will like this hotel a lot.

Please calm my fears and tell me everything you can about this hotel!! We've only stayed at on-site resorts before except for one experience at the Hyatt Orlando which was a good one. I'm just afraid of getting stuck in a roach-infested dump for 7 days!! :ee:

The Clarion Universal advertises on this board. To get advertising on the DIS, Pete Werner needs to give his seal of approval on it. If a hotel has his seal, then it is a good hotel. You will not see any roaches! :)

We stayed there one night (found out we could leave town 2 days bofre our res. at HRH started). We drove most of the way down the 1st night and had reservations at Clarion through DU the next. Really we didn't spend enough time there to really get much of an idea about it except the rooms were nice. We checked in went ot bed and left 7am to check in early at HRH to get our keys for FOTL and EE
