??Characters??

My princess: will be 2.5 when we go in Oct. She reallydoesn't know many Disney characters. She knows NEMO and WIGGLES very well. Will there be any of those things there??

no wiggles, but epcot has turtle talk w/crush. It totally rocks my sonwas two and he loved it. He also loved the figment ride and can't wait to meet figment in july. Play house disney in mgm is great and my guys got to meet jojo and goliath. My son learned the characters while at disney and now just loves mickey, He drives me crazy, He's dying to go back. Don't know if my rambling helped, but i tried :confused3

We just leave the tv on the Disney channel in the morning and now DS4 knows everyone! You've got plenty of time to at least expose her to the characters so that she'll know them when she sees them there. Loved Playhouse Disney - can't wait to see Crush this December. We also met Stanley in AK.

My DS liked seeing the real fish at The Living Seas. Also, I spotted Nemo doing character meet-n-greets outside of The Living Seas.

The Wiggles aren't Disney. How about Winnie the Pooh? He's big at our house.

We are taking our daughter in Dec. 3.5, and are "prepping" her now for all the characters she will see. Renting videos * even the older ones, like dumbo, and lion king, sleeping beauty, snow white,) Have Disney family movie night. I was surprised at how much she loved them, b/c of the older quality. Also, we bought, The Disney Trivia game to help her get to know the characters, its a fun game to play as a family and it gets us excited for our tirp!
If you are hopeing for a pic with Mickey, don't forget to get her used to the size of the characters..we looked for pics on the net of people on vacation at disney world..and showed these to her, and have explained numerous times how big mickey is. I don't know if its doing any good, we won't know until December..but heres to hopeing!!

If you child doesn't know many of the regular char. like Goofy Mickey, Minnie, Donald. Dasiy and Pluto. Having them watch movies and cartoons is a good idea. Mostly so they don't get scared by seeing a 6-7 foot dog! some char. like Belle you can see live at MGM. when i was young i loved it. Being so close to somone i've seen in movies.:) Wiggles aren't at WDW. The places to see them are live shows having to do with House Mouse Jr. Char. like Bear in the big blue house, wiggles, and standley.. Young one will LOVE them. Just remeber watch lots of Disney movies.
