To us, the Disney Club is worth it. We use it for a discount on passes, at hte Canadian Disney stores, plus some in WDW. You also receive the DIsney magazine. We go to WDW every year, so for us it is a good deal. You have to decide for yourseld how often you will use it, and if it pays for the cost of your memebership.
You want US Disney dollars? If so, you have to purchase them in the states, Are you near a US border? Someone, once posted a phone number where they were able to get Disney$ over the phone, Im not sure what it is. You cant get them over the internet. Hope this helps.

As a matter of fact, I am also in Ottawa. Thanks for offering to pick up some DD for me, but I won't be heading back for awhile (I was hoping to find a way to accumulate them gradually). Sorry, hope I didn't appear to be nosy and rude (I hate it when it looks like I'm being both, one isn't bad, but both... ). Thanks again.:D :D

Hi DisFan2,
So you also live here.. Actually, I did not think you were either rude or nosy, just curious.
If you change your mind let me know, I leave soon. Just to quell my curiousity, which part of Ottawa do you live in?

I live in what was formerly Nepean, in an area of town known as "Skyline". My wife and I were commenting how the snobby people here get upset when we're confused with the riff-raff over in "Parkwood Hills"!!!

Now that we are one big happy city....
I live in Orleans. When we first moved here in 84, I couldn't believe the east end/west end conflicts but at least now that we are one city we can all turn our ( shall I say annoyance) together towards the great big City chiefs!:D

What do you think of the new no-smoking by-law? I'm in favor of it, although I must confess it hasn't made us any more likely to go to a restaurant or bar - although the bowling alleys look more attractive now! (we have a 4.5 year old - so bars are definitely out):D :D :D

Hi DisFan2,
Yes I agreee with you re the new bylaw. Mind you, I am an ex-smoker and you know what they say about ex smokers...worse than.........converts! LOL
I also am a bowler, so it will be nice on my league days.:)
