HI all, I have strayed AGAIN............. Boy I feel horrible!
I have taken off this past week taken off from exercising and eating right and I can really feel it! Summer is coming and I am definitely not going to get back into my summer clothes............... as some of you may know, I work in a restaurant on the water so I get to wear shorts to work! There all out and ready to be worn but dont think I am going to get into them. I dont think I will be able to finish my MAY exercise challenge even if I double up! I just feel horrible! I just finished watchng a new reality show called INTERVENTION about drug abusers and I feel that way with food. Like coming back to WISH tonight is going back to rehab. I am just so sick of getting BACK ON the wagon. I know, I have heard that the hardest part is getting back on and trying again but I feel like such a failure about it. I know some of you may know how I feel but I really feel like I can't do this. As if, my body is saying this is it...... your NOT going to lose anymore weight. I just dont have the patients for it! I mean I am here so thats good, and tomorrow, Ill do good, perhaps the whole week but its at the point that I am now expected one good week and then I give up the next week. Any one else bummed like me?
renee
You are not thee only one Renee. DW and I are both well over. We've lost in the past with weightwatchers and a DIY low fat diet, but its all crept back on again :guilty:
DW doesn't help , with only 6 days to Seqoia Lodge DLRP she says " what's the poit as we'll be eating all that food next week."
Just been on the scales :guilty: and I had lost a stone again but the weight has gone back up again.
Don't feel so down :grouphug: remember we are not alone :)

Renee, I'm right there with you. I have fallen off big time and I need to get some of this weight off before our vacation in just FIVE short weeks!
I was very successful with WW about two years ago; became a Lifetime member and then stopped going to the meetings. I probably haven't been in about a year.
I also stopped going to Curves when I quit working there six months ago. The combination of these two things is really starting to show.
Today, I started to count my WW points again. If I can't do it on my own, I'll start going back to the meetings. I also joined another Ladies workout club "Shape Xpress". They have the machines similar to Curves, but also have a treadmill, stationary bike, and ellilptical, as well as an infra-red sauna! (I think I'm totally in love with that sauna, BTW!)
Anyhow, I'm with you. :cheer2: Good luck!!

I hear you!!! I have taken out all of my summer clothes and if I don't do something now I'll be walking around this summer in a sheet (I always like the toga look).
I've started weightwatchers again and hopefully i can stick to it. Good luck!!

 Renee
i'm with you girlfriend, totally right beside you. i'm sitting here in my favorite jeans that are cutting into my gut - i remember them being loose
my shorts are look TERRIBLE b/c they are too snug in the hips/thigh
i have a wedding to attend in about 5 weeks and i have almost 10 lbs to lose!
i seem to do well for three days and then not so well for three days. i've done WW on my own for over 2 years now (off and on) but have been considering joining for awhile. then i remember that I did it the first time using WISH as my support and i need to get back into that. I"ll be honest that the WISH board seems to be more focued on the marathoners and since i'm not coming next year i just aren't as motivated to be on WISH. that is totally my deal and i just need to buck up and get real
let's get back into our shorts together -- starting now i KNOW by the end of June they will be fitting us much much much better!!!! what do you say?

Add me to the list... sigh... I was so immersed in classes and work for the past 2 weeks that I had no time to work out. And since I had been working out I had felt like I could eat whatever I wanted, well I kept this up when I wasnt working out. Now I need to get my bod back in shape so I can fit back in the bikini for the summer! That stupid memorial day creeps up on me every year!

I have the same problem. A few years ago I went from 18 to an 8. It felt wonderful, & I loved all of my clothes. Then ds got sick and was in & out of the hospital. I went from an 8 to a 16. I developed an addiction to Milk Duds & Dove Chocolates. I could see the weight creeping back & just kept thinking that next week I'd diet. Currently, after struggling with this issue for over a year, I'm motivated again to do this. I know if I just start that it won't take that long. The first month is the hardest. Once I start losing weight I get a momentum going - its just getting started that is so darn hard for me. :confused3

OK... tomorrow we can have all the BBQ we can have... but come June 1st we need to do something! Who's with me on this! Nothing drastic maybe 5 minutes of walk or maybe skipping that Salt and Venigar Chips... I will post on June 1st in the PM to share what I have done. I hope you all come back too and we can compare notes and be able to help and support each other.... Happy Memorial Day ! And maybe next Memorial Day we can look back on this together... :grouphug:

I am so glad to see you all coming here to get on the road again! If some way you can make small steps to finding the motivation you will see that you can do this.
It is certainly a daily battle and not easy, but we fight!
Keep on keepin' on. It is for you and you can do it!

Hi all! Count me in. I'm up almost 10 lbs from my low last year of 169.5. And still a long way to go! But I started this journey 2 years ago at 208 lbs and I'm very proud of myself ... and I need to keep telling myself this every once in a while. ;)
I joined a running clinic 10 weeks ago. Can't say I like it, but I do feel great afterwards. Our first week, we ran for 2 minutes, walked for 1 minute, and did this 4 times. I wanted to quit by the 3rd set. :crazy2: We then slowly increased over the weeks, and today, our "graduation day", we did a whopping 25 minute run non-stop. And while the last 3 minutes were really, really hard, I told myself that I had come this far and I wasn't stopping now. :Pinkbounc I really and truly did not think I would make it past the 10 minute run on week 5 ... I love to powerwalk, not run. Having people to do this with 3 days a week has made a huge difference.
I've been feeling lousy about the weight I've gained, and it's comforting to know that I'm not alone. I have you guys to help me! :goodvibes I will say though, right now, sitting here still sweaty from my run, I feel GREAT !!!
I hope that this thread is going to be my new turning point, 'cause nothing's worked so far!
Here's a great big :grouphug: and a few :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: to get us back on our way to the good "Loserville" !!!

I am coming back again as well. I seem to get going and then hit a wall and the excuses come in. I am getting back on the TM tomorrow morning. I have been doing OK with eating but not great. Will be concentrating on that too. We are all in this together and the support is so great here. Have a good Sunday.

I will join you. I start a new diet every week and then fall off. Started again yesterday. We are going on DCL this Oct, so I don't want to embarrass myself and my family!
I am going low carb cause I feel like carbs make me want more!
