Milesource increased points for rewards

Anyone visit the Milesource site today. They have upped the amount of points need to redeem awards! I am especially ticked off about the dining certificates. Now you need 6000 points for a $50 certificate, 9000 points for a $75 certificcate and 11,500 for a $100 one.

Figues I was about 300 points away for my $75 RFC award. Since we are going in October, I doubt I will have enough and will need to settle for $50 :(

I just hate it when the do that. It seems like everytime milesource changes it look, does a little work, etc.. they up the points needed to redeem!

Boy am I glad that I just cashed out. I probably made an extra $50.00 in gift certificates by doing so. I should probably cash out of the other sites as well. They seem to have that "follow the leader" menatlity sometimes.

I had a feeling when they were previewing the new site, the points would also go up but not before the first of the month. I'm only 2 points away from the $50 level. Needless to say, I'm not happy. I find it strange that these award programs make changes in the middle of the day or whenever they please. :(

Add me to the list of people who were nearly ready to cash out! This STINKS to put it nicely.

You would think they would be required to give 30 day notice before making such changes.

I bet alot of people will be cashing out now.

I have really had it with reward programs. Where is freeride when we need them!

How about this? I've been sending emails to milesource for the past couple of weeks about missing points... probably about 2500... and they don't even respond... in their stalling... they've made it so I don't have enough to cash out? Not quite fair!

:mad: Man, I hadn't noticed that! This really stinks!!! It's funny how they wanted us to take a preview of their new look a few days ago, but didn't offer any preview of the new cash out amounts!??!
