Ok, so now that we're officially official DVC members (deed recorded 5/9/05) the points (august UY) are burning a hole in my pocket, but DH says he wants to bank our 2005 points (since the purchase cost us "so much" in cash outlay, he wants to hold off going until at least 2006!!!! But he doesn't want to go as early as february....aaargh. Maybe i can convince him that we MUST go during the HCOE--maybe bank 2005/use 2006/borrow 2007 and go all out for Christmas??? take family??? i don't know...anyone else have this problem? How did you solve it? :scratchin

I know what you mean. When you know there's a room waiting for you at WDW, it's hard not to get on down there and make use of it.

We never did solve the problem, so I can't help you with that. We just bought more points so we could go whenever the mood struck.

I feel your pain. :earsboy: We will be closing in sept. for SSR and I am reallllly holding myself back from using the pts. this year. We just came back in early May so I havn't yet started getting the shakes :goodvibes . The advantage of not going this year is that our 175pts. can be carried over, then a partial carryover each year for about three years before we end up borrowing or more likely buying more pts. You probably already know all this but I have worked the numbers back & forth ,this way ,that way (work has been slow :earsboy: ) and our patience will pay off starting in 2006. Oh,but the wait! Our deed too closed on 5/9, our UY is also August, but I've already used all of this year's points and 28 of next years! Just use them! Then you don't have that awful nagging feeling! Use them, use them, use them! :cheer2:

--i was really hoping i could figure out a way to wake up in a tower room at the contemporary overlooking the castle for our 10th anniversay in august 06
