ok, on a whim I've joined WISH, and I'm changing my life, isn't that exicting? :earboy2:
I'm sitting here today, (at work) not sure what I weigh, but it's a lot! (guessing 290)...I'm 5'6.5" tall
So I guess when I get home I'll weigh, and officially post my start weight!
I'm excited to do this though, I've needed to for a long time, but I knew I could never do it without support and after looking around here for a few days, reading posts, and basically NOSING ;) I just know I've found my weight loss "home" :wave2: THANKS for all the encouragement you've given me already guys! AND I HAVEN'T EVEN ACTUALLY TALKED TO ANYONE ON THE BOARD! lol :rotfl:
I know I can do this though...I just know it...I'll go into a bit of my story sometime (when I have time) and I'll post some pics of me here soon!
So day one is nearing an end...and it's not been TOO bad...can't wait to buy NEW SMALLER clothes! YAY
thanks again everyone....doin the "i'm so glad i'm here and going to lose weight" dance :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc :cool1:

Here I am :goodvibes DAY TWO :cool1: and ready to get this thing rolling! :moped:
I'm at work today, so I brought food with me (to avoid the dreaded cafateria and/or the vending machines)....
Soooo in a bit I'm going to have some breakfast: BANANAS & STRAWBERRIES cut up YUMMIE :teeth:
For lunch I brought Tuna Salad Sandwich made with WHITE tuna, onion and fat free miracle whip (minimal used)...on low cal bread. :flower:
Not sure what I'll be doing for dinner tonight, probably salad...I'll figure that out when I get home, or at least on my way home!
And I signed my hubby on board as well...we're going to do this thing together...YAY US! :Pinkbounc He has not posted here before, but I set him up a user name "4gator" and he said he'd come check things out...I know this board could be great encouragement to him as well...and I'm encouraging him to journal, so say hi to him if you see him post PLEASE!!!!! :teeth:
Thanks again for your kind words guys...only YOU GUYS can know what they mean to me! :)

Keep up the good work Jen!! You are well on your way. I try to look at my overeating like an addiction...just take it one day at a time. There are days that I completely obsess about a certain food until I get my fix and unfortunately will gorge myself on it until satisfied. I realized that I'm going to have to do other things during times I would normally over eat.
My "other thing"? The DIS boards!!!! And planning our next trip to WDW.

Ok, day THREE!! YAY
I haven't been up long this morning, I'm getting ready to jump in the shower and go for a walk. I didn't get my exercise in yesterday. WAs going to do it after Jayt's baseball game last night, but it was so late, and I was so tired, I just fell asleep.
This morning I have a breakfast cassarole in the oven
It's made of: egg product, lite polish sausage (small pieces) some shredded chedder cheese, and the low fat cressont rolls from the dairy section that you bake....going to have a piece of it when it's done.
Ok, getting off to a good start, after I shower I'm going to go walking then eat, and I'll be back to post more later guys!!!
HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL! :cool1:

WELCOME TO WISH, JEN!!
I've only been on the board about 2 weeks and absolutely love it. Everyone is so wonderful and supportive. I've found it really helps to read other journals to get food ideas and great diet tips. It even helps to realive that none of us are perfect and we will all have an off day every now and then.
I'm sure your headache is a withdrawal headache. I stopped drinking soda about 5 weeks or so ago and the first few days were bad. I took it slow, cutting my soda down until I could cut it out completely. Now, weeks later....I don't even want it anymore.
You seem to be progressing nicely. Take it slow and be confident. We are here to help!!! Consider everyone family!
GOOD LUCK!! :Pinkbounc :cool1: :bounce:

Day 4, can you believe it? I can't :cool1:
I'm super pumped as I'm starting to focus less on the food I'm "missing out on" lol and more on the fact that I'm 4 days in...and only 26 more to go before I've developed new eating habits and ditched the old ones! YAY!!! :cheer2: :earboy2:
I haven't eaten yet this morning, but think I'm going to have a bowl of cereal with skim milk...sound good? sure :) Maybe some cut up strawberries on it! :rotfl:

OK, change of eats for the day ;)
I didn't eat any of the breakfast cassarole...it just didn't look good enough to waste the calories on...(although everyone else really liked it) :)
I ate a cup of strawberries and had a peach yogurt for breakfast. :)
I still haven't gotten my walk in yet though, I've had a KILLER headache for about 3 hrs now...probably withdrawl from the caffene and sugar no doubt... :confused3

Hi Jen- Welcome to WISH! What a great start! I started journaling 3 months ago, and it has been really motivational. Just taking account of everything I ate was a big step for me, and little by little I started to see where I was sabatoging myself and where I was making progress.
It's so great that you are doing this w/ your DH! Mine also agreed to change eating habits with me (he hasn't started exercising yet, but I'm guessing he will eventually come around :)), and it has made a big difference in my success. We are eating so much better than we did before and both have tons more energy.
Keep up the walking- you'll soon find that exercise can be just as addictive as food (OK- maybe that's a bit of a stretch, but you will love the added energy!)

Hey there, hi there, ho there! :rotfl2:
It's me, little ole (or soon to be) Jen...and I'm here at work DAY FIVE!!! Can you say ....ooooh oooohh ooooh??? :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
Ok, so things are ROLLING RIGHT ALONG for me, and I'm SUPER pumped up about this change of life....you're so right, it's GREAT to be doing this with DH.
I said I'd post more about me when I had time, so I'm going to do that now! :)
I'm 31 (soon to be 32, June 18th) married (in case you hadn't guessed) LOL mother of 3, ages 14, 12 and 7.
I was a skinny child, an average-thin adolescent, and pretty normal, all-be-it with bad eating habits. I got pregnant with son #1 when I was 17, and began to pack on the pounds right away! :( I remember quite well I gained 6-12 lbs a month during my pregnancy, and when I had my son Jaron, I was a hefty 200#...I was sick at the fact that I was so big after baby, however I did NOTHING to remedy it, and when DS was 13 months old, I was pregnant again with DS #2, though I didn't know I was pregnant till October and had spent the summer dieting and had gotten down to about 180 (still 45lbs more than I was pre-1st pregnancy)
After having DS #2, I remained around the 220 mark for several years, and in 1995 I was up to 245, I abruptly went on a diet and lost down to about 200lbs give or take, I was a size 16 at my lowest then (I was a size 9/10 before babies)
In 1997 I gave birth to DD and though I didn't gain much during the pregnancy, and lost some after (weighed about 215 at my 6 wk check up) I was not losing anymore...fast forward 2 yrs and I enter college.
The pounds began to come on, and I did NOTHING to remedy it...a few diets here and there, I might have lost 20 lbs, but never keeping it off, and always returning to my old eating habits. :(
Fast forward almost 6 more years and here I am, starting to change my life FINALLY for the better, for my health, and taking control of my outrageous eating habits. I just wasn't meant to be this oversized person I've become...and it's funny, I never think of myself as fat, sometimes when I catch my reflection I do a "double take" because it freaks me out so much that that's really ME in the mirror...so I'm going to change it...actually I've already began to change it, and I'm super excited!
Did I mention I'm STILL in college? LOL, graduate school now, so bad eating habits die hard...but they are DEAD here none the less! :)
One of the kewlest parts for me will be the day I can post those before and after pictures, because I have been thin and I can tell you I look like TOTALLY different person thin/heavy...it'll be kewl...
So that's my story...(and I'm sticking to it) ;) :earboy2:
Now, what did I eat this morning: well I'm drinking water right now, and eating fresh strawberries (can anyone tell I like those?) :)
More, later, replies VERY welcome! HUGS!

You sound much like me, only younger!
I, too, look totally different. I remember when I was pregnant with DS #1 my brother saw a picture of me and didn't recognize me AT ALL. I bloomed from about 135 - 220. YIKES!! And came out of the hospital each time weighing more than before delivery. Go figure.
Keep on keeping on. You CAN do this!!
Have a great day!

05-23-2005, 02:34 PM
Ok, here I am 2:25pm (my time) and my work day is dwendling YAY! :)
2.5 hrs til I'm headed home...going to stop past the store and pick up some chicken breast and salad for dinner...going to make the "Taco Chicken" posted on the recipe board...sounds yummie! :)
I'll also need to pick up some ff sour cream, i'm all out! :goodvibes
I'm a little hungry today, my own fault I should have brought a snack, but I didn't....I've been TRYING to drink more water today...I've had 3--8oz glasses, BETTER THAN NONE! ;)
I had the strawberries for breakfast, and for lunch I had a subway salad made of only baby spinach leaves, tomato, onion, a little shredded chedder cheese, and chicken breast strips...and I brought my own WISHBONE--FF Italian dressing YUMMIE! ~~this wasn't quite enough to fill me up though, so like I said, I should have brought a snack! :( I'll do that tomorrow! ;)
Tonight I have to go home, then run out with dh to pick up a lawnmower (push mower)...then come right back (this will only be about a 20-30 min trip) and make our dinner (he's feeding the kids before I get home...isn't that SWEET???)
then we're going to eat dinner (will probably be 7:30 before we can eat, I dont' like to do that, but what can you do when you don't get home til nearly 6?) :confused3
Then we're gonna get the two younger kids to bed at 8:30 and go on our walk...we'll be back in time to for me to watch the season finale of MEDIUM!!!! yay! (I REALLY like that show) :teeth:
then I'll hit the hay after that and start all over again tomorrow...sounds FUN doesn't it?? Oh and somewhere in the mix (probably while I'm watching tv LOL) I have to price yardsale items as we're doing a yard sale on saturday...YAY! lol
OK, ENOUGH for now! hugs to you all, hope everyone has a FAB day, and doesn't STRAY! :)

LMBO, ok, since he's not posted what that user name means, let me do the honors:
He's a MAJOR Green Bay Packer/Brett Favre (their quarterback) Fan...and he once saw an interview Brett Favre Interview where he said when he was a kid he went through a stage where he called himself "gator" and he wanted to change his name to "Gator"...and it's still a nick name..., also his number is "4" and Jeff is of course "for" the packers and Favre.....thus 4gator! LOL
So...........................NOW YOU KNOW! lol....DON'T GET TOO EXCITED! lmbo :rotfl: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Like it!
I think I know why I chose a few of those specific songs for my workout cd other than the fact that I love them:
Song 3: Hollaback Gurl (Gwen Stefani)- I've been " a few times" I've been around that track of weight loss and now I want it more than ever.
Song 4: Since U been Gone (kelly clarkson)- "Since u been gone, It's like I can breathe for the first time. I'm so moving on [yeah yeah] Thanks to you, now I get what I wa-a-ant!" (not want, pronounced like rant, except with a W at the front.) It's want, (wa-unt, I guess, if I wanna be technical)
Song 5: Mr. Brightside-The Killers: It's about my destiny and if I don't take control, I'll be left in the past with no control!
Song 6: This Ones For the Girls (Martina McBride): Make it happen!
Song 12: Shut Up! (Simple Plan) "...Step up, step up, step up, you'll never stop me. Nothing-you say-today is gonna bring me down!"
You're kickin' some serious tooshie! Keep it up!

Well, when you have as much to lose as I do, you'd expect to lose a lot at first, right? :teeth:
When I lost the 45-50 lbs in 1995 I lost it very quick, from the last week of Feb to the 1st week of May...and I did eat, I just ate right and exercised! :) So I expect to lose the first 50 or maybe even alittle more pretty quickly...I'd guess I'll be down 50 lbs by Aug 1. (Just a guess mind you)...but I won't be suprised...from there I'm not sure what my body will do, never lost more than that at one time...but I guess we'll all see huh? :earboy2:
So I jumped on the scales yesterday morning and was down another pound, so I added it to my ticker! :) Why not show off if I can! LOL, now I'm wanting that other pound so I get my 10# clippie! :)
I like your songs and why you picked them...GREAT!! :)
And I'm going to have to deal with Disney in a few weeks (16 days actually)...that's going to be hard to handle with all that good food down there! :(

Hey, why fight the scale? You happen to be doing swimmingly in my humble inspiring opinion! Keep your eyes on the prize at Happy Mouth City (WDW) and if you REALLY want it, have a small portion of it. You're in the Happiest (Mouth) Place in the whole gosh darn universe!! Enjoy it! Where will you be staying? Check out the menus at www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm!

I'm hearin' ya about the food in FL! I'm really sweating how I'm going to stay on track. DH will want 3 FULL meals a day and I just can't eat that out and survive. And if I mention it, I'll be condemned. Oh well..... But first I'll have to get there, and the food on AMTRAK is usually plentiful and good - especially the desserts. :teeth:
I'm working on an eating plan and places and contemplating taking my scale, but not sure I want to lug it around.
You are doing great! If you can go down 50 by Aug I will be VERY VERY impressed!!!

Way to go Jen! I have started back on WW today and love reading your journal- you are an inspiration! I think I may start my own journal soon! I bet you can't wait to be @WDW! we're staying in a Condo off site (but very near) disney...it's one of the 'disney prefered' places...and way cheaper than a similar place that is onsite...we are going to mk, universal, ak, mgm, epcot, and the two open water parks...eating out for dinners 4-5 x (I know we are going to the sci-fi cafe, cindy's royal table, rain forest cafe, and some mexican restaurant in epcot), eating breakfast in our condo daily, and eating lunches out each day :(
it's going to be hard, no doubt....and as for the 50# by aug 1, well that's simply a guess...who the heck knows what my body will do...but based on past loss, it normaly falls off..in which case WHY THE HECK HAVE I WAITED SO LONG TO DO THIS??? lol oh well....life goes on, right? :) :cool1:

Welcome to WISH!
Thanks for stopping by my journal to say "hi!" and send good vibes too. I appreciate that!
I am in a lull with my trying to stay at goal so I can use the encouragement. I really need to loose a bit more though and tone up more too. Especially my tummy! My arms have definately firmed and my legs are firming, but the tummy doesn't seem to want to budge of late.
So, again, thanks for visiting! It looks like you are doing GREAT! I noticed that DH is doing this with you - you are so lucky! My ex-H (just separated) was my biggest sabateur! My kids are very, very supportive! Thank God!
Try to squeeze that exercise in each day it makes a HUGE difference especially if you are consistent with it!
Keep up the terrific work! :cool1:

You are doing so well, Jen! I'm extremely excited for you. :Pinkbounc :cool1:
I know how hard it is to get up in the morning to exercise . . . . sometimes I'm able to actually talk myself out of bed but sometimes I'm not. I believe it pushing myself but not to the point that I resent my wellness plan. I think just going with the flow is the best.
Your chicken tacos sound wonderful! I love anything Mexican!

THANKS SO MUCH **hugzzzz**
Ok, well exercise this morning just DID NOT work out :( I was up too late, and then (of course) got up late :( I was even 10 minutes late to work this morning YIKES! Good thing nothing exciting is going on here today! :)
I REALLY want to start getting up and walking in the mornings...but it's going to really take some **UMPH!!** on my part! I have to leave my house at 7am each morning...which means I get up at 5:30-6am. Which means to walk I'd need to get up an hour earlier (so as not to rush)...so you can see, it will mean kicking myself in the pants that's for sure! :(
I'll keep you guys posted on that...in other news LOL...I just had a bowl of "honey bunches of oats" (with bananas) for breakfast! YUMMIE! ~~skim milk...and a glass of water! :)
oh my way to a SUPER GREAT day SIX!

Almost lunch time, YAY! (not yay because I get to eat, yay because half my work day is nearly over) Can anyone tell I'm not THRILLED with this job? LOL
but that's another story...at any rate...
I'm going to go out and walk a lap around the parking lot which is HUGE!!!! I'm not sure how far it is, but after work I thought I'd make a lap around it with the van and see...this way I get my exercise in...however it might mean that dh doesn't...or maybe I'll just walk TWICE today to make up for not walking yesterday! :)
I brought some salad with cut up chicken breast and ff italian dressing for lunch
gonna drink 34 oz of water at lunch if it kills me LOL (i know it won't) LOL
and gonna kick tail on the scales!!! OH YEA...ok, enough playing, I'm going to go fill my water bottle and roll! I'll be back to eat my salad and post more after my walk!

So how is everyone doing today? I've not heard much out of anyone!

Good luck, Jen. I like your daily menus. Not too shabby! Why don't you add in some raw almonds as a snack too. They are healthy, (no salt though), and give you some nice protein.
My new found favorite lunch which fills me up is a salad with beans on it. I use Romaine, Spinach, Peas and Black Beans. Then I use a low fat/calorie Roasted Red Pepper Dressing from Seeds of Change (50 cal/2 TBSP). The fresh greens are great and the beans fill me up.
Good luck on your journey and thanks for posting in my journal. I'm not trying to lose alot of weight (I'm 5'5 & 120 now) but rather stop the diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis by changing my diet. Just a little experiment, I guess. I hope it works.
Keep at what you're doing! You seem to be making good choices and remember, you can eat AS MUCH salad/fresh fruit/raw foods as you want! The darker the greens, the better! Eat lots!
Good luck!

sorry guys, I fixed jeff's ticker for him yesterday before I left work and forgot to sign out of his name :(
so, here I am AGAIN!!!!!
Here I am, day seven, and SUPER PUMPED!!
ok, so I forgot my bowl and my spoon in the van this morning, and I parked extra far away from the building (for the walk)...so it would take too much time to go get them now, so I'm eating my cereal dry (but that's ok)
Brought a ham sandwich on light wheat bread for lunch
Going to try to pull off 64 oz of water before I leave work today....(WE'LL SEE)
I enjoyed the walk with hubby last night, but it was still hard toward the end, so I think until a mile gets easy for me, I’m not even going to try to do it alone in the morning time (5am)...I'll wait till it's more comfortable...then I will...did I mention we walked a mile in 17 min last night...not to shabby for us (at least I thought it was good).
My mother is coming for dinner tonight and actually BRINGING DINNER, she called at 6:30am...she's bringing:
FROZEN LASAGNA DINNER
GARLIC BREAD
SALAD
hummmm this could be interesting...see, here's the thing, I didn't want to tell her I'm on a "diet" or a "change of lifestyle" cause I've failed so many times, it just puts pressure on me for people to know...(EXCEPT YOU GUYS!)
SOOOO what to do? I think I'm going to eat a super big salad and a tiny piece of the lasagna so she doesn't think anything, and 1 pc of garlic bread...does that sound ok???
OPINIONS PLEASE!!!!!!
Ok, on with my day! Thanks for all the SUPER GREAT comments! KEEP THEM COMING! I LOVE THEM!
Huggies,
Jen

Hi, Jen! I think your plan for dinner is perfect. And it is awesome that you are thinking ahead on how to handle what could otherwise be a very difficult situation.
I found that when we went to WDW in March a perfect strategy was always to eat salad before eating my lunch or dinner entree. It took the edge off my hunger and gave my body time to feel a bit "full" before I started eating the entree, which I otherwise would have gobbled up. I then found I could be satisfied with a bit less of the non-salad type food. So, good for you for planning ahead and coming up with a strategy you can follow.
BTW, a 17 minute walking mile is awesome!!! You guys were really hauling butt. Do you know that 20 minutes is a good mile pace? Maybe you could slow down a tiny bit and enjoy the walk more and you definitely won't feel intimidated about trying it by yourself in the wee hours of the morning. Wish I had the stamina to even think about getting up that early to walk. :)
Keep up the great work, Jen!
joelyfaithsmommy
05-25-2005, 09:05 AM
hi keenercam, no i didn't know 20 minutes was good pace for a mile...it felt like I was killing myself towards the end of that mile LOL...no seriously, my legs were REALLY feeling it towards the end, but I didn't break a very good sweat, so I kinda felt like I wasn't walking fast enough :( ???? :confused3
Maybe we will slow it down a bit tonight...Next monday we are going to try to increase to 2miles...we'll see though..it's just a thought.... ;)
As for dinner tonight, well I knew if I didn't have a plan, then I'd "blow it" and I don't want to do that! I also don't want to tell my 100lb mother I'm on another diet, don't get me wrong...she's very supportive of me, and she has NEVER once said a thing negative about my weight, but still I just don't want to tell her...so I think I'll do the EAT MORE SALAD, eat less lasagna thingy! LOL and be done with it! :)
Hope you guys are around today, not sure how much I can post, but love reading!
HUGZZZZ GUYS!!!! :cool1:

Jen, you are doing AWESOME!!!
It's wonderful your mom is not critical. Mine was AWFUL!!!!! The worst was my dad's funeral. I have a nephew who is the head photog for the Baltimore Sun and he took a family pic and printed it to show. I was on the end of a large group and there was a curve to the lens anyway to fit everyone in, but it made me look even bigger than I was. She pitched a FIT in front of about 100 people, loudly, that I RUINED the family picture because I was so fat and that she wanted another with me not in it. Keep in mind I'm NOT the biggest in my family, but I'm short, so that combined with the lens was AWFUL!!! Even when I was thin (5'3, 120) she thought I was fat.
Anyway....enough of me.
Your lasagna plan is good. I just looked in my WW book and Schwans lasagna is 8 pts for 1 cup - roughly 400 cals. Didn't see the stouffers.
I'd wait to walk alone until it was more comfortable, too. But the 17 min mile is a good one. Congrats!!
joelyfaithsmommy
05-25-2005, 09:31 AM
that's TERRIBLE about your mother saying that! :( People can be so crule an not even realize it.
It's hard for me being in a family where I am not only the only big woman, the only big person, besides my husband...our kids are thin, our parents are thin, etc, etc...it sucks! Everyone makes me feel bad except my mother, not meaning to, and nothing so obvious like your example, but they do it none-the-less...
They'll all be in shock when I lose all this weight! :cool1: haha

Oh, I hear you! I can't admit it to anyone either--I don't like the pressure and I don't want to be embarassed if it doesn't pan out. My mom is a bit hot button too--she's always been large and she's gone the other way, deciding that all doctors are lying about obesity being unhealthy and that diets are evil, etc. It makes for some awkward moments.
I think your plan for tonight sounds good. It's your body and your decision as to what you put into it and whether you want to discuss it.

Excellent job, Jen! I preach that moderation thing to myself. It's not always possible to make yourself something different from everyone else to eat and in your situation.....it would have been impossible. I don't think it's bad to eat it if you can do it in moderation. You did that perfectly!

ok, it's day 8...my goals for today:
STICK TO MY CHANGE OF LIFESTYLE EATING PLAN (ie: no chocolate pie) LOL
Walk at least 1 mile today, but I'm going to try to do more (this will be when I get home tonight.)
STAY MOTIVATED...even though the scale showed me up 2.5 this morning! I WILL NOT GIVE IN, I know it's just my body adjusting (and a major loss in wk 1) so IT'S ALL GOOD!!!! :teeth: This time next week I'll be down that 2.5 PLUS SOME MORE!!! yay! :rotfl:

OK, GETTING MY DAY STARTED...got my water bottle filled and ready to be consumed! LOL...haven't eaten breakfast yet, but I'm going to!...it will be cereal with skim milk
brought a salad with chicken breast strips for lunch...YUM!

It's been a long week for me too. Still having a hard time focusing and getting in the groove after a couple of upsetting months. Dying for the weekend, when we will head out of town for lots of good times with friends. Glad you have something so wonderful to look forward to!

Hi Jen- good luck w ith your garage sale...I wish I could convince my DH to do this, since we have soooooo much junk around the house. I have no idea where it comes from!
If you're looking for a gym, a lot of WISH people are Curves members and are great about answering questions. I joined there 4 months ago and love it; it really eases you into the whole exercise thing and makes you love it. Although, if you're looking to join something w/ your DH, it wouldn't be the best choice.
BTW- I saw on another thread that you're considering a PhD...I'm just finishing mine up this year. It's a huge endeavor, but I'm glad I did it. I did let the pounds pile on w/ all my course work, but I'm getting control of it now. But let me know if you want to chat. :)

As far as the PhD, yes I'm about 90% sure I'm going to do it at this point. What is yours in? I'm considering Mass Communications or Instructional Systems Technology (I'm conflicted) LOL Would love to chat sometime about it.
Huggies again!

Hi, Jenn!
Hope Jeff is having fun with the garage sale. I guess, especially if you have kid stuff to sell a weekday sale works well for SAHparents.
I am a HUGE advocate of the YMCA for getting into a fitness routine. Ours is open 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 pm M-S and 12:00-900 Sundays. There are so many opportunities for free and low cost fitness classes as well as the flexibility of just going to the fitness center and using the equipment there. Our family membership is $65/month and the membership even includes 3 1-hour sessions with a personal trainer (I used my first for training on the upper body nautilus machines, but haven't used sessions 2 and 3 yet). The other thing I like about the Y is that it is not a beauty pageant. I go in sweatpants or shorts with an oversized tee shirt. Rarely do I ever see anyone in any kind of "fitness wear" like leotards or sport bras and bike shorts. This is very reassuring to me.
Congrats on the 22W shorts! That is fabulous! I know just how you feel putting them on. Just think about how you are going to feel when those shorts get roomy in the next couple of months!
Keep up the great work over the weekend. I won't be around to cheer you on, but I will be thinking of you and your DH. Have a great weekend!

Sounds like those 22 shorts won't be fitting too long. WAY TO GO!!!!!
Just think how much you'll need them at Disney. Won't be long till ALL the 22 fit and then are too big!
Hope the sale went well. Have a GREAT weekend!!

DDR? Oh , no!! It is ADDICTIVE!!!!
My DH15, the gymnast, makes his feet FLY!! We go to Universal and he has to play in the arcade. When we travel, he has to take his xbox and DDR with him. TOO FUNNY!!!
Me, I'm not near coordinated enough. I can't seem to get the info from the screen to my feet anywhere near fast enough. It is REALLY a workout!

Congrats on the $200 at the garage sale as well! Is this Disney money? We're hoping to have a garage sale in two weeks and we are hoping to make about $200-$300 as well. Every little bit helps us get that much closer to WDW, doesn't it? :goodvibes
Jen, you are doing such a great job and I really admire your enthusiasm and positive attitude! You CAN do this, girl! Go Jen! Go Jen! Go! Go Go Jen! :cheer2:

Yes, DDR is addictive...I have wanted it for a long time..the graduate program I am in deals with new media design and many of the students create vido games, thus DDR is the topic of discussion much of the time because they all love it...I had only played it a few times until last night when hubby brought it home to me :teeth: I was so excited!!!! It's a super fab way to exercise....and I'm pumped about having it!
our garage sale money is for disney, yes...
and I'm MORE THAN READY to say BYE BYE BIRDIE to the size 22's but all good things in time my pretty! LOL

Great work! Congrats on the new size! Those are the milestones that really matter.
I'm a historian, getting my degree in cultural and performance history, so decidedly different fields ;). I went into it knowing I wanted to teach, but I'm learning to love writing too. My biggest advice would be to know for sure that you need the PhD for the career you want; it's more a test of patience than of intelligence, and if I wasn't sure of my end goal, I don't think I would have finished it. (actually I haven't finishe it yet, but I'm on track ;))

DAY ELEVEN HAS ARRIVED!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH LADIES!!
I promise to get caught up my journal reading/posting tonight, however for the time being, I thought I'd post this:
Just got back from walking a mile, did it in 17 minutes...not bad :)
Haven't eaten yet, but going to get something before we get on our way to family's (1.5 hr drive away)
We're having a cook out today...but I have a plan ;)...
We bought some of the laura's lean beef burgers and some oscar mayer ff hot dogs and we're each (jeff and I) going to have one burger and one dog...
:teeth:
I think we will fit in ok doing this, I'm going to try not to make a big deal about it, but cook ours myself.... :) I'm going early so I can accomplish this without notice! :)
Ok, I'm officially at my 10# lost mark, will get my clippie tonight! YAY :cool1:
i hope you ladies have a FAB day, and will post tonight my food diary, and read and post on your journals!!! :)

ok, my day wasn't JUST as I had planned but all in all I'm satisfied!
here's my eats:
BREAKFAST: none :(
LUNCH:1--Laura's Lean Beef Burger, onion/tomato/mustard on a reg bun. 1 table spoon give or take of potato salad, very small portion ceasar salad, bowl of strawberry short cake.
DINNER: Talapia fried in PAM with a spicey cornmeal coating, 2 baked hushpuppies, a generous portion of FRIED morel mushrooms...ok, I TRIED to fry these in PAM, and it DID NOT WORK, and it's been 2 yrs since I've had any of them, so we splurged and I used as small an amount of oil as I could to fry them...they were very good, and I did not finish mine (gave the last 4 to the kids) :)
WATER--not sure how much, but I drank quite a bit...plus had 2 glasses of Crystal Light.
EXERCISE: Walked one mile with Jeff this morning...I didn't swim :(
Overall a good day...I probably shouldn't have eaten the mushrooms...but the good news is they are gone, and mushroom season doesn't start again til next April :) LOL
Normally I would have eaten 3 times what I did of them though...so I'm happy with myself! :)
hope you guys had a super weekend!
Hugs,
Jen

Hi gals (and guys)
My day was ok...it was weird though, I got some banana chips/dehydrated pineapple for a 'snack'...and it was the weirdest feeling, I felt a mini benge coming on...I had a handful of pineapple and a handful of banana chips, and then I STEPPED AWAY FROM THE SWEETS! lol...
so here was my food day:
BREAKFAST: 1 english muffin w/thin layer of light peanutbutter 1 glass skim milk
LUNCH: 1 light Oscar Mayer Hot dog w/mustard, bowl of cut fresh strawberries
SNACK: handful of dried pineapple, handful of banana chips (generous)
DINNER: Some totilia chips with my famous dip
LOTS OF WATER (not sure how much) :( sorry **note to self, track this when at home!
EXERCISE: walked 1 MILE!!! :) :cheer2:
So tomorrow I'm not slipping, not sliding, only STICKING TO my change of life plan...though my choices this weekend were MUCH MUCH MUCH better than I would have made before, they still weren't where I want to be yet!!!
ON ANOTHER NOTE: I have not drank any soft drinks and/or sugar drinks (kool aid, etc) in 12 days now, no coffee either, and I do not miss it!!!
Only water, milk or crystal light for me! :) yay
ok...that's enough from me tonight...you'll hear more out of me tomorrow on DAY 13!!! and the days are dwindling on going to DISNEY...I'm hoping to drop another 5 pounds before I leave!!! GOING TO HAVE TO GET CRAKING ON THE EXERCISE IN ORDER TO DO THAT!!!!!!
huggies guys!
have a GREAT night!

Wow, Jen, you are doing so great! Congratulations! Isn't it awesome when you can look at the choices you have made and realize how much smarter you are now about those choices? Even if you think you could have done it better, you have to remind yourself of how GREAT you are doing, compared to what your choices would have been in your former life(style)!
Keep up the wonderful attitude! You are definitely inspiring!

Joined the 5 for June challenge (hopefully) more for me PLEASE! LOL
drank 32 oz of water
and stained my new shirt with a strawberry, anyone know what takes strawberry out of tshirts? :(
i'll post more tonight...will probably be after Jayt's baseball game!!! HUGS TO YOU GUYS!!

I'd try cold water & BIZ soaking on the t shirt. There is also little bottles of stuff they sell at WalMart - yellow w/ white caps, that are formulated for different types of stains. I'd bet the BIZ will do it tho.
Have fun at the game!

Good morning, Jen!
How exciting that you got through another day with flying colors and without touching the twinkies! :cheer2: You are doing so great, sweetie. You HAVE to be really proud of yourself (now just DO NOT reward yourself with food!) ;)
So, how are you feeling? The reason I ask is that it looks like you aren't eating protein with every meal and I have found, without a doubt, that I really start to drag when I don't have enough protein. I went out and bought some FRIGO light mozzarella sticks (1 WW point each) and eat one of those slowly whenever there isn't already a protein element to a meal. They are great snacks!
Have another awesome day! :flower:
joelyfaithsmommy
06-01-2005, 08:33 AM
no rewarding myself with food :teeth: I PROMISE!!! ;)
I really feel good...most days I have some protien for at least 2 meals, rarely for breakfast though...yesterday was just a strange day I think...Today I'm having a chicken breast with motz cheese seasoned with garlic for lunch...with radishes on the side (love radishes!!!)
for dinner?? not sure :teeth:
Breakfast is strawberries and a little honey bunches of oats cereal (with almonds) ;)
LOTS OF WATER...
I put on a pair of sz 22 jeans this morning...they don't fit quite yet, but considering I couldn't even pull them over my hips 2 wks ago, I'm happy!! :)
TRUGGING ALONG...can't wait to drop another 11.5 lbs!!! :)
have a SUPER day Cam...THANKS FOR STOPPING BY AND SAYING HI this morning!

Hey Jen! Just wanted to drop in and say "you go girl"! You ae doing so awesome! Those next 11.5 will be gone before you know it. And only a week and a day until you get to see Mickey- I'm so very jealous! I love reading your meal plans as they give me some new ideas. DH is thin, but loves healthy food (maybe that's why he's thin and i'm not??)- so anything healthy he will be glad if I cook it. Of course, then he'll down a whole bag of cookies. But at least I can do some healthy meals, right? So, how is Gator doing? I'm sure very well as are you- Have a great day at work!!
joelyfaithsmommy
06-01-2005, 08:54 AM
Brandi, thanks so much for such kind words...Gator man is doing better than I am...he's down 15 lbs (LUCKY MAN)...and counting...he's exercising and rockin this thing out! ;) :cool1:
I'm glad you benefit from my food diary...I do the same thing looking at other people's diary's...
as for your hubby being thin...I'm sure that's why he's thin...if you eat well, you will be thin...gator used to be thin for the first 7 years of our marriage...then he quit smoking, and found food...so for the past 7 yrs he's been heavy...now he's changing that and getting back to his roots, as am I (we were both thin children/young adults)...it's a good feeling...you know we should be teaching our kids good eating habits...so now we are :) We are fortunate to have three wonderful children with NO weight problems, but if we had continued to teach them such poor eating habits, who knows later in life??? I'm happy we've changed our ways! ;)
hugs and thanks chic!

I'm so sad! I LOVE PIZZA!!! It's such a weakness, but I know if I have one piece, I'll have more, and it's just not worth it! I'm sticking to things now so I can have a splurge or two at WDW next week...especially since we're celebrating my birthday while we're there!

I'm right here! Don't you worry!
Step AWAY from the pizza. You know what's right. You want those WDW awesome foods, don't you? Am I right? Go to the party for no more than a few minutes and bring water with you/chew gum/keep your hands busy! Do not, I repeat, DO NOT eat any of the pizza. You're doing pretty awesome, so I know you can do this! After the mingling, RUN back to your office and chug your water. That's what I'd do!!!
You will get through this!! In the tough times you grow! Keep growing!

Jen -- I have been where you are, and am there even today. But I want to LIVE at the gator farm and get imbued with that indomitable upbeat attitude that seems to ROCK there!
Just keep thinking of those 22w jeans, girl. That will inspire you.
And just think, your pix from WDW next week will be "in progress" pix, not "start" pix. Isn't that awesome? You will be saying "In this picture, I had been on WISH for x days and had already lost MORE THAN 10 POUNDS!!!!"
Carry that with you in your heart, Jen. Because you have earned it. Every day you get through is a success in and of itself. There were will be lots of positives you will reflect on every day.
Congratulations! You are going to go home and tell Jeff how you avoided the temptation of pizza and cake. And he is going to give you a huge hug and you can both be proud of you.

oK, her's my day!
BREAKFAST: a few strawberries
LUNCH: Chicken breast w/motz cheese, cut radishes
DINNER: Turkey sandwich (2 slices on 2 pc reg bread) a few strawberries, some fresh pineapple, 2 pc cantalope, 5 small korean dumplings that had been steamed with what I believe was pork in them (these were quite small)...one medium size one, and some oriental noodles (3 bites) (We went to a pitch in dinner for my son's sixth grade class and they have a very diverse school with lots of Asian students...so I tried some of the Asien Cuisine.)...overall though for the day I think I was fine for calories/fat grams
OH YEA ALMOST FORGOT...had a small handful of 'puppy chow' ...if you don't know what this is please read my post on 4gator's journal! :teeth:
50 oz water for the day

Hey, Jen! Great day yesterday! Congratulations! Sounds like you made awesome choices at the dinner last night, too. You must be sooo proud of yourself.
WISHing you another successful day!
Oh, helpful hint, if you are interested: On the days when I have to go right to someplace else after work, I make sure I have a pria bar (2 pts) or something like that with me in my purse, to eat right when I feel hungry, to hold me over until I can get home. Otherwise, I am so tempted to run through a drive thru window or something.

GREAT idea...i might run past CVS on my way out of work tonight and see if they have anything i can take with me...
thanks Cam!

Jen, in case it provides any guidance, wontons are usually 1 point each. So, if those little things you ate seem like what you'd find in wonton soup, you can figure they are around 50 calories/1 WW point each. So, you really did not do badly at all. :cool1:
Be sure to look near the slimfast bars etc for pria bars. There are lots of flavors -- I know my son LOVES the french vanilla, but I find it a bit sweet. :Pinkbounc I am also finding that the Nature Valley fruit & nut chewy granola type bar (often near the cereals) is very very filling, probably because of the almonds and fruits in it.
The other thing I try to keep in my purse is sugarless gum -- carefree koolerz berry or watermelon flavors are very sweet and I find that I really don't want to eat anything else when I have chewed that kind of gum for a few minutes. Have fun shopping!
It is so funny now how I have granola or pria bars in the door of my DH's van, in my glove compartment or in the door of my car, in my desk drawer, in my workout bag (which I now put in my car EVERY morning), and on the first shelf of the snack cabinet. It's like having an emergency first aid kit at the ready. I know, I am goofy! But, by having it there, I can often avoid eating anything until I get home. It's kind of a mind game. It's like, if there isn't something smart for me to eat, I am compelled to stop for a taco. But if there is something, I can take it or leave it. :confused3
Keep up the great work! I am LOVING hearing about how you are doing, one day at a time. Oh, and if you want some hints for meals in WDW, I had a great time in March doing WW at WDW, just to see if I could!

TIPS for eating at WDW are MUCH appreciated!!! :)
pearlieq
06-02-2005, 09:58 AM
Tips for WDW:
--Eat breakfast in your room. If you have a car, stop at the Super Target and pick up fruit, yogurt, etc. If not, bring a box of cereal or some bars (I like South Beach and Clif bars) for a good start. If you start with a good breakfast you won't feel the need to attack every ice cream cart.
--Split EVERYTHING. You may find that half a Mickey bar or Dole Whip is enough. You can always go back for more.
--Order things a la carte. You don't have to get the fries with sandwiches. You can order one combo and one extra sandwich and split the fries.
--Order veggies or fruit as a side item in restaurants instead of fries, potatoes, rice, etc. You can get carrots or an apple instead of fries in a combo meal at most counter service restaurants.
--Drink as much water as you can!
--Stop at the fresh fruit stands for snacks. A big slice of watermelon is a sweet refreshing treat for almost no calories!
--Watch out for mindless munching. Are you really hungry or did you get that popcorn while waiting for Fantasmic because you were bored?
--Be careful about staying OP as much as possible. It may be just me, but it was super duper hard to get back on!
--Try some different, healthier options at the counter service restaurants. Some ideas: Grilled Chicken Salad at Pecos Bills at MK. Vegetarian Chili at Columbia Harbor House at MK. Food Court at the Land at Epcot. Tangieriene Cafe in Morrocco at Epcot. Studio Catering Company at MGM. Turkey Wrap/Corn Chowder combo at Tusker House at AK. Barbecue Chicken Salad at Flame Tree at AK.
--Beware of the sugar free items. The sugar free ice cream may save you a calorie or two, but the sugar free candies and pastries have the same amount of calories as the "real thing" and the malitol they sweeten them with may make you sick to your stomach.
--Combine fun with exercise. Rent hydrobikes, paddle boats, and surrey bikes. Try out the miniature golf courses (Fantasia Gardens by the Swan/Dolphin is my favorite)
Hope you have an awesome time!!!

Hey, Jen! What is the game plan for lunch today? Hopefully, something interesting! I am eating the last of the garlic herb shrimp & broccoli with some brown rice. Haven't thought about dinner yet, but I took out a package of ground turkey that I may season with taco seasoning and mix with lettuce & tomatoes, and maybe, some fat free cheddar. That always makes a very satisfying bulked up meal.

ok, let me post yesterdays eats, then i'll come back and post my first post for today! :)
We were out of town all day yesterday at my two sons' graduation party...they are both graduating this coming week (Jaron 8th grade, and Jayt 6th grade) so we were off to my parents house to enjoy family, swimming, and of course food...before we even left I gave myself permission (not to gorge) but to have what I wanted for that day alone. here's what I ate:
BREAKFAST: water, i was getting ready to leave, and just didnt take time to eat!
LUNCH: 2 slices supreme pizza, 3 breadsticks dipped moderately in cheese sauce, fruit (cantalope, watermelon, grapes, stawberries) 1 small pc cake 1/2 pc cookie cake.
DINNER: Grilled skinnless/boneless chicken breast w/bbq sauce, salad w/ ff low call italian dressing, cantalope, watermelon, honey dew melon, and grapes. 2 spoon fulls of fruit dip (made with cream cheese, powdered sugar, and cool whip)
SOOOOOO not the BEST day I've had...but considering I decided to eat with everyone else I feel my choices were pretty good...normally I would have eaten 4-6 pc of pizza...and probably a very large piece of cake and cookie cake!
I drank 32 oz of water
EXERCISE: walking up and down the stairs at my parents house about a million times...carrying lunch and dinner from the kitchen upstairs to the kitchen downstairs....(don't ask) LOL...
anyhow...I'm kewl....stlll feeling bloaty..... :( hoping that feeling goes away soon...going to make SUPER WONDERFUL CHOICES today...and KEEP ON GOING!!!! ;)
I know I'm on my way! :cool1:

What's happening today girls and boys? :)
GUESS WHAT I FOUND OUT LAST NIGHT??? The condo We're staying in (Doubletree Resort Orlando-Villas at Maingate) has a gym to work out!! I'M SO SUPER :cool1: DE :cool1: DUPER :goodvibes PUMPED about this!!!
It's going to make it SOOOOO much easier to keep losing while I'm there! I'll probably get more exercise during vacation that I get in a normal week!!!! YAY!!!!!!
Ok, what is my game plan for today: Well I'm at work now, I'm going to try to sneak out of here today around 4:15-4:30...we'll see!
EATS: I brought raspberry yogurt (lite) for breakfast, HC french bread pep pizza for lunch along with strawberries, and another lite yogurt (peach)
Not sure what I'm doing for dinner...it will probably be left over bbq chicken in the fridge...as soon as I get home tonight I'm going to have to eat fast and then we have to leave for Jaron's 8th GRADE GRADUATION...it starts at 7pm.
My DM, DMinL, grandparents, are all coming up for it...should be nice!
I'm going to walk on my lunch hour today so I get my exercise in or I won't since the evening is so busy! I'm also going to call gator to tell him to walk today so he gets his in! :teeth:
ok, I think that's enough about ME...oh well one more thing...I put on this shirt today to wear to work, and before it "just fit" it was what I would call a little "snug" around me, but not too tight to wear...now it is loose!!! I couldn't believe it...scales were holding steady this morning, and the bloated feeling is going away FINALLY!!! I'm looking for a GREAT week with some more LOSS before I leave on THURSDAY!!! Sounds good to me! :earsgirl:
I'll be checking journals throughout the day, and updating mine as I go along! Huggies!

Have a great time at the World. I always get more exercise on vacation because there are less pressures - no work, cleaning, errands, cooking, laundry etc. I always enjoy the fitness centres and the pools especially. Love to swim. It is fun to try the different machines at the fitness centres... and of course, walking around Disney will help a lot. Have fun. :flower:

Hey, Jen! Congrats on the loose shirt. That must feel sooo great. Keep up the super effort.
I am so glad you found out your resort has a fitness center. I'd like to make a suggestion, based on what I experienced in March at Old Key West. I don't remember exactly what was in the fitness center there, but I do know every fitness center/workout room I've seen in any hotel or resort has a treadmill and an exercise bike, at the very least. I committed myself to going 1/2 of the days we were there, and I told myself I would either use the exercise bike for 20 minutes or walk the treadmill for 1 mile. By making a "smaller" commitment, meeting it was much more do-able.
Just think about how great you will feel if you can post that you went to the fitness center!
Good luck!

And congrats on the water intake. Keep it up, chickie!
BTW, was feeling a little down about my phsyical limitations as those manifested yesterday at the gym. So, I started a DIS WISH thread called something like "musings of a 1/2 marathon wannabe jogger".
Wish you were planning on walking the 1/2. I could use a like minded "up" walking buddy. :)

Huggies!
Jen
There is so much I have to say! You're doing great, congrats on the looser fitting shirt, congrats on Jaron's graduation, have fun at the World! Eat lots of yummy food that's healthy and exercise!

Jen, you are just such an inspiration! What an awesome job you've done! 14 pounds- wow- that was quick! Mickey will be so proud! And congrats on your shirt being loose! isn't that just the best feeling in the world? I know I just love when something is loose! Of course, after my weekend, all my stuff feels tighter even though the scales say I lost- oh well! I know you are about to go nuts waiting until Thursday- this will probably be the longest week ever! Hang in there- it'll be here and you'll be seeing Mickey!! I'll check in with you in the morning!

we're here, the SUNSHINE STATE, however when we landed in Orlando it was RAINING :(
It cleared up though, we picked up our van and drove to Daytona (long delays on the highway :( )
We are going to be here in Daytona until Saturday around noon (then we head to Orlando and Disney) :)
Tomorrow we are going to the flea markets early, then (provided we have sun) we are going to spend the day on the beach! AHHHH THIS IS HEAVEN! :)
Our plane ride was pleasant...the kids thought it was cool...joely has just been amazed by everything so far, however she was a bit cranky by late this afternoon, I think a day of traveling was too much for her, her normally sweet and pleasant disposition was a bit sour tonight...some rest and she should be good as new! :teeth:
We have a room at the La Quinta Inn (the newest hotel ocean side at daytona)...the rooms are very nice...ours has two queen beds, and a couch that makes into a bed...also a fridge, microwave, sink, etc....shower is nice too...has a great pool, and hot tub...we are on second floor and our room faces the ocean
my parents are in the room next to us...jayt is sleeping in their extra queen bed tonight(they don't have the couch in their room)
jaron has a queen bed, and joely took the fold out bed....tomorrow morning i'm getting up at 5am, working out for 1 hr in the exercise room, then taking a walk on the beach with my mom and gator ;)
ok, off to post my food diary of the day, and then to bed
hugs from florida....more tomorrow!

SNACK: a few low fat cheeze it's, a kellogg's nutragrain bar (strawberry) and a necterine
DINNER: Grouper Sandwich (blackened) with onion and tomato...baked potato (i did have reg butter and reg sour cream, but only used about 3/4 of my butter which was i'd say 1 tbsp...and the sour cream was about 1 tbsp too, used all of it...ate about 1/2 my potato. 3 small pieces of watermellon...also didn't finish the whole bun on my sandwich only ate about 3/4 of the bun.
so day one vacation over and i feel i faired well! :)

Ok, here's my best guesses as to points/cals. I looked them up as closely as I could.
BREAKFAST: 1 c special k cereal in 2% milk(2)...1 orange(1), 1 english muffin with 1 tsp jelly(2+) 1/2 c oj (1)
Breakfast 6.5 - 7 pts (325 - 350 cal)
LUNCH: turkey lunchmeat(2), piece of cheese(3), lettuce, tomato in a warm pita bread(if 1/2 of a pita - 1) 1/2 c cottage cheese (reg) (2.5)
Lunch - 8.5 pts - 425 Cal.
SNACK: 100 calorie oreo pack (2)
DINNER: 1/4 lb peel and eat shirmp(2), zuccini and squash, 1/2 pc grouper stuffed with blue crab(6 - 8), and basil sauce.
Dinner - 8 - 10 pts 400 - 500 calWATER: 32 oz
So, totals for the day - 25 - 27 pts - 1250 - 1350 Calories.
I THINK YOU DID AWESOME!!!!!!!
On WW that would be for 175 - 199 lbs (24 pts)- 225 - 249 lbs (28 pts), and you would have 35 total points a week to "play" with extra. So you would seem to be VERY much on track!!!!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Hope you're having an AWESOME time!
Soak up some sun for me :sunny:

Hi Jen,
I am so sorry to hear about your sunburn! :headache: I got sunburned at my garage sale last weekend and it still hurts! So, I feel your pain. ;)
I have a question for you: Have you eaten at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney too? Which one do you prefer and why? We are trying to decide which one to eat at when we go to WDW in December.
Hope you have a very :bday: ! Take care, Jen!

Sunburns.....OUCH!! But this too shall pass!
Glad you're having a good time. How is gator guy doing?
I can't wait to hear the weight results for you. I'll bet you lose a good amount even on vacation and if you don't, oh well. You will continue once you're home.
Fun is the main thing!
Happy Early Birthday!

Jen -- You sound like you are having a great time and you are doing such an awesome job with your food and water! AWESOME going, sweetie!
I cannot wait to hear all about the trip. I hope you are keeping track of all the great food choices you are finding in various places, so we can all learn from your experience.
Give our regards to Jeff, too. You guys are going to be tan and gorgeous on your return to real life! :)
P.S. When you get back and have a chance to catch up on journals, you will find out I am getting a WDW fix in August -- a weekend trip with one of my best friends in the world who is also a Disney nut! Am taking her to our beloved Beach Club Villas and we will have almost 2 days to do the parks. I am excited beyond words!
